Interestingly enough, after having lived in Utica for six years now - I can tell you that it's bursting with immigrants. Bosnian Herzegovinian, Somali, Rohingya & Karen, and Vietnamese being the most recent. And they build small but productive, recognized, and from what I can tell, legal communities all over the city. And I have never seen a demonstration where I live. The only demonstrations I have seen or heard of were organized in downtown - and 70% of them were clueless white liberals.

The nearest population center to me is Batavia. So I drove there to see if any protests were going on. I didn't see any protesters where I was, but I did end up taking a walk through history though. I didn't realize the Holland Land Office was putting this event on, so it was a nice surprise when I noticed it. My day took a strange turn of events.
