It seems that everything that is being proposed its to limit the common man and provide more advantage to the State thereby nullifying the intent of the 2A.

"rapidly discharging ammunition have no acceptable purpose" Like the idea of target shooting is not an acceptable purpose. Also after that I did not see anywhere that single shot 50 cal would be ok. With that mindset high horsepower cars should not be allowed either, same with alcohol, and now they want to make weed legal.
Fair market value to me would be MSRP but that wont be offered.
We should let the bill get passed and then push the manufactures to make 49 caliber rounds.
As mentioned earlier how many crimes have been committed with 50 cal? So our paid lawmakers are spending time to pass new BS laws that will not have any positive impact....

But how does anyone make any sense of this shit.

I knew it would be bad, but I didn’t think it would be this bad. I figured it would be worse than most people were anticipating, but this is beyond belief. I’d say 50-75% of these laws will pass.

Not just target shooting but hunting as well. This bill outlaws ARs in .50 Beowulf as well as any bolt, lever, or reproduction guns that are chambered in .50 Alaskan, 500 S&W, 50-70 Gov't, .50-90 Sharps, etc., etc.

A month or so ago on the Bauerle and Bellavia radio program. There was a guy (guest) on the show
that seemed to know beforehand what was coming down on us law abiding gun owners.
That guy said that when we find out what Albany has in store for the NYS gun owners.
That we will look back on the NY UNSAFE Act as the good ole days.
I wouldn't doubt that there is even more to come that we don't know about yet.
