too my slept on by most masada slim elite in mischief machine grip module and over 200 rounds down range not a single mishap .. gun runs flawless and shoots soo flat, my buddy tried it and was like damn .. why doesn't everyone have one of these.. only negative is the take down procedure little...

i prefer no safety ( personal pref.) but the trigger blade esp on the mcarbo trigger is enough plus the pincer locker vedder holster has adjustable retention now and compete trigger guard coverage which works for my needs

i think the carry is specifically like you said for more of the micro subcompacts to have less overhang and lead to more comfort during concealment , but if you shoot ok with it and hit the intended target that’s all that matters
