I think my mag tube was just filthy. I removed the spring, cleaned the tube, cleaned the spring, and cleaned the follower. The follower had a big glob of grease in it.... that stuff must have been gunking up the tube.... it is good now

Def cool for the Permit-less NYers out there, but way too pricey

it is the KSG410. It is sweet, NY State legal. Holds 14 rounds. Really tiny too, same size as shockwave i think, 26 inches long and 5lbs. It is just considered a regular pump shotgun, not an "other" b/c the barrel is still 18.5 inches

the problem is def the the mag-tube spring, it smashes the shells when it is full, but when i load it with 1 less shell, they don't get smashed. I don't know what to do, might take to gun store over weekend and see if someone can look at it

No they aren't cycling, it seems being bent is causing them to not catch the lifter..... sometimes i'll have to pump a few times hard to get it to rack, or i have to push the shell into the mag-tube with my finger a little bit to jimmy it into the spot to catch the lifter i literally had those...

yes the black shells i posted a picture of are the 2.5 inch PDX1 Defenders...... right now i have hornady critical defense, 2.5 inch in there, will test cycling tomorrow

I have a new Mossberg 590 in .410, and I am noticing the PDX's I have loaded in there got all warped and bent. They don't reliably feed while in this condition. I loaded a few 3 inch 000 buck shells to test out different ammo when I wasn't sure what the feeding issue was, and then i noticed it...

Yeah I am sticking with the PDX's and Hornady Critical Defense. 14 PDX's in my KSG should be plenty.

it is sweet. It is super small and compact. Pump is smooth, perfect home defense length. Pistol grip feels much more natural than regular shotgun. The tubes holds more than the Mossberg too, can get 7+7 of 2.5inch in there, can only fit 6 in the Mossberg. i've seen it for dirt cheap on...
