You all do realize this happened a while ago!? Bear Creek is and has been known for this and therefore not supported by the 2A communities...

As an aside, I wonder why owners and managers aren't also detained and processed as their hiring practices are in violation of the Law as well... Many laws actually...

Because most of the politicians also utilize illegals as a way to keep "costs" down.
If they started going after the small companies for hiring illegals eventually the politicians will get picked up for it.

Can't have that now, can we? (/sarcasm)

If the employer is paying them under the table, then the .gov will love them tenderly.
BUT, as long as they run the info through the Fed E-verify, or are presented with a SS number and name, they can file the proper tax forms, and the .gov gets a cut.
It doesn't matter than the SS number they are using is stolen, and being used by 15 different people in different states, the IRS never used to flag that, let alone tell the employers. The IRS would explicitly NOT share any information with ICE, but I think that is being changed now :)
If an illegal has all the "right" paperwork, not matter how fraudulently they got it, the employer "did their due diligence", and have their asses covered.
If the employer had an EFFECTIVE, and required tool to confirm the eligibility of a job applicant, I'd be more than happy to see the hammer brought down on them right along with the illegal. Or, even better, have the IRS run the tool the first time their added to a payroll for deductions. Cross reference it with all the other info they have, and BOOM, stolen SS numbers pop right up, and ICE could be notified. Combat the issue from both ends, right?

But here in NY? Damned if you do, damned if you don't, since they added immigration status to the "Human Rights Law".

The fact that NYS started issuing licenses to illegals made it that much easier for them to get hired, and in fact, NYS will TELL THEM when ICE asks about their license:
The law provides a number of privacy protections that limit data sharing, including to agencies that primarily enforce immigration laws, and requires disclosure to the license holders when immigration enforcement agencies request data from DMV.

Aww, that's too damn bad I hope Ilana isn't to depressed, she might get red flagged!

Isn’t that what an I9 is for? I had to prove I was legally allowed to work in the USA just a few weeks ago.

Unrelated but I wish ICE would come clean out the dairy farm near us. You may remember my story of when the 2 illegals from Columbia doped a bunch of cows, ruined $200,000 worth of equipment, stole and crashed 2 cars from the dairy, then ended up in our ditch. Then walked up our driveway before turning around and walking down the road. They were drunk and high. They were both deported.
The farm is still employing illegals. About 15 of them are housed in a dilapidated house about 1/4 mile from our house. Their house and yard are a mess and they are very unfriendly. They get drunk all the time and ride their bikes around screaming in Spanish. One recently was found passed out drunk in a neighbors garage. He ran off before the cops came. We live in a quiet rural area. These guys cause 100% of the issues around here. We hear them on our road screaming at least 4 nights a week. Ive made it pretty clear to stay off our property, but I still worry when my wife is home alone.
Ok, racist rant over. :)
