Turned my spare room into a gun/hobby/workshop room!

The safes are SecurIt Agile 52s. They are a modular knockdown safe so easy to reposition and move. I have them both lag bolted to the floor and to each other so its about as secure as I can get it. They wont fit through the doorway bolted together so a would be thief will have to cut it up to get at them which will take time and make a lot of noise.
Mainly I wanted them as much for organization as for security. The interior is completely customizable so the layout will change as I add more guns.
I have an 11 gun peg hanger for pistols coming so one of tge safes will be for pistols and shorty guns and the other for longer stuff.

Looks nice. Thanks for the write up on the secure it safes. I saw an advertisement for them and was wondering what they were all about. I really like the modular design but feared about their security overall.
It’s nice to have a dedicated room like that. I have kids so it’s only my basement. It’s fine, large, and well lit but if a spring or something goes flying I doubt I’ll ever find it as you will.

I could help ya with a new floor and updated trim. 
As it is an apartment I am restricted in that regard. I asked the landlord when I moved in if we could change the carpet out for linoleum or tile or even barber carpet but no dice unfortunately. So I laid out two indoor/outdoor rugs over top to at least somewhat protect the carpet.I could help ya with a new floor and updated trim.
I did order a Real Avid Master Gun Vise and also a 11 pistol peg rack. I have a few ideas for reconfiguring the safes when it comes in. I reckon when I run out of safe capacity that is my signal to call the collection complete. I don't want many more long guns, a Beretta 1301, some kind of precision bolt gun and a shorty AR setup for suppressor, possibly in 300 BLK. It's the pistols I need to step up on. A 1911 is probably next up. Debating a Colt Competition or a Gold Cup. A 10mm, a couple more revolvers.

Money spent on such anachronistic nonsense is money better spent on more guns, more ammo, accessories and supporting equipment.
I am glad that I have enough (almost enough) for all of it.
Shit is getting so damn expensive, especially on the edge weapons front. Almost unreal too be honest.

Yes and I can leave my dirty clothes on the floor if I want, never bother closing the bathroom door and drink whatever beverage straight from the container. What's your point? It's still nice to have a dedicated hobby room with everything close at hand
Oh and that vise came in today.
I keep debating as to which end of the bench I should blot it to. I'm thinking putting tge vise and magnifier lamp in the same place would be a good idea
These narrow trays are particularly useful as they can fit BEHIND your long guns
The tray above the pistol rack is the bolstered handgun tray, 2 bolstered pistols and their accompanying mag holders can fit in there. In this way I can securely store guns in the immediate carry rotation without having to constantly eject and re-chamber rounds.

I just told the wife we are going to have a vault room in the next house. 6” reenforced concrete walls, ceiling, an inside opening Vault door so we can use it for a shelter if need be. 20’x12 door aught to do it.

Where'd you get that back plate with the lips to attach the tray and canisters???
If you are referring to the louvers on the back that everything mounts to that is the back wall of the safe itself
