Just read this article too. Am pissed as hell. So NYC draconian dystopia. Meanwhile NYC is providing shelter and protection for tens of thousands undocumented, unlicensed, unregistered illegal immigrants, some who are felons in multiple countries.

I'd like to know what other politically incorrect Second Ammendment gear was found when they searched this guy's residence that was legal in 44 other states.

If anyone hears of a legitimate Go-Fund-Me for this case please post.

I was thinking the same thing, donate to help this man and his family.
NYS has been conspiring to make NYS more dangerous, every action builds on the last one to keep unstable, violent criminals on the street , while locking up the citizens who fund the state to be weaponized against us.

Guns and cash are the freedom hills to "die on" once they are gone, you will be as well and under the current corp control its being rolled out daily.

Agenda 2030 is right on schedule.

I'm going off-topic for just a second to remind everyone that Hochul the Horrible wanted to create COVID camps (with no due process involved). It was so bad that even a New York court told her No, you can't do that.

I'm not trying to change the subject; I'm just pointing out another example of how ridiculous New York can be. Daniel Penny also comes to mind.

If I were a violent criminal and not already living in New York City. I would make it a point to move to the Rotten Apple, where a violent criminal is considered a part of the protected class.
That's how Democrat controlled areas roll.

Self-defense is going to take another blow when Mr Mc'Commie Mamdani takes over NYC.

Note to self, stay away from NYC, where self-defense is considered to be an illegal act.

I find it interesting the guy did have a permit his crime was carrying the wrong one, dumb mistake

Foehner faces weapons charges after prosecutors said a search of his home revealed he had more than two dozen weapons - including pistols, shotguns and an AK-47 - but was only licensed for five.

He's got the time to study law. Lawyers are dirty crooks in general....just saying.

I'm absolutely sure there are enough pro 2A organizations that will take this case up too.
This should be fought. And the next guy should follow. Wash, rinse, and repeat.
Overload the judicial system with cases. It's far past time to stand up for what's right.

It’s not bad enough that the guy who attacked him had a history of mental illness, 15 arrests and he gets arrested where the majority of the USA he’d be fine but the stupid DA demanded this man go to jail before Christmas. He is 61 and will spend 4 years in jail so this might be his last Christmas and the cry baby DA tried to get him to miss it. Come on. He’s 61 if he was a criminal we’d know by now.
From the article, thankfully the judge had more common sense than the DA.
Until then, he’ll remain “at liberty” and will be able to celebrate Christmas with his wife, Judge Toni Cimino ruled — over objections from the Queens DA’s Office, which had pushed for him to spend the holidays at Rikers Island.

We have felons arrested dozens of times out loose on the streets setting people on fire while this guy is going to jail for defending himself. This country is completely screwed up. I have nothing but contempt for democrats and anyone who votes for them. At this point I say bring on the right wing dictatorship and political prison camps. Can it be any worse?
