Wrong. We are not out numbered 8 to 1. As of February 20, 2025, 47.90% of registered voters in New York State were affiliated with the Democratic Party, while 22.63% were affiliated with the Republican Party. That is not 8 to 1.

For most elections there is only 30 - 45% turnout over all. For Zeldin's run for governor only 46% of registered voters bothered to turn out. Zeldin had 46.7% of them. If our side showed up at 80% he would have won in a land slide. Numbers do not lie, Emotions do! Too many people go by emotions on these subjects and thus do not vote, Like I said it is pathetic how lazy our side is.

What I'm reading into is this: The Country is headed for a social/economic crisis, the Republicans are bailing out so it doesn't happen on "their watch" democrats are promising to make life hell for anyone that opposes/opposed them while they were in the minority, while siding with the illegals they imported and the Muslims that want to kill every Jew and anyone that rejects Islam, then there's (ostensibly) the coming fall out from the Epstein fiasco, Russia might decide they've had enough of the bullshit from NATO and the West, South America's cash-cows (Drugs & Oil) are being seized or blown out of the water and the Cartel's that own them are better equipped than their countries Military, not to mention skirmishes between Columbia and Venezuela, the Chinese are infiltrating with intentions of colonization and control of Panama, and yes there's the specter of Civil War in the United States should the radical Left and/or the Radical Rag-Heads decide to "bring us to our knees"...Hope everyone remembers that once the shooting starts, no one is safe and government isn't coming to your rescue...Hell, while we're at it; there's likely to be a "False Flag" or two along with an alien invasion from space (see Project Blue Beam)

I agree with much of this. The true powers to be want the US, our ways of life, to be brought to her knees. One way or another.

Anyone that pays a remote amount of attention to the current state of affairs that we find ourselves in, should see this.

I could go so deep into this, but I am not sure how many really want to read my 100% honest views.

Honestly, I'm worried that you're absolutely correct and it's worse than we think.

You know what I meant. And we are out numbered. You can try to spin it what ever way you want. I don't care what the numbers say. It's common knowledge and fact that downstate is just shy of 2/3 of our total population. Add in the other big cities like Buffalo, Rochester, Albany, Syracuse, and Utica which are all liberal cities and we are outnumbered. Sorry, maybe it's more like 20 to 1. As long as downstate has the majority of the population in NY, nothing will change.

Does anyone else find it odd that between two Parties in most every election we're split right down the middle?
I expect there are fewer viable/lawful Democrat voters, but they stick together to cover for the party irrespective of legitimacy or legality, after all their mantra is "vote blue no matter who".

I think the even split makes sense in a two party system.

What makes it dangerous is how far apart those two parties ideologies are.

The scary part is that most people don't realize it's just a uni-party that needs to be destroyed.

If a candidate drops out of a race (U.S. federal & most state races)​


1. Money is not returned to donors​


  • Contributions are not automatically refunded just because a candidate drops out.
  • Donors usually cannot demand their money back unless the campaign voluntarily offers refunds (which is rare).


2. The campaign can still spend the money​


Even after dropping out, a campaign committee may use funds to:


  • Pay outstanding debts (staff salaries, advertising bills, vendors)
  • Cover winding-down expenses
  • Make donations to charities (within legal limits)
  • Transfer funds to a party committee (if allowed)
  • Transfer funds to another campaign only in limited, regulated ways


3. Leftover funds (surplus)​


Once debts are paid, remaining money generally must be:

Given the disproportional population numbers dividing "Up State" (Albany) and NYC/Long Island from the rest of the State, yes it makes sense: There's roughly 117,000 people in Jefferson County, so even if every person voted, there's more people than that in neighborhoods down there, so our vote is negligible and negated.
My point between the Party's and election numbers ever so often comes down to an almost 50/50 split. Look at how many races, be it for the Town Dog Catcher or President of the united States, elections are decided (or stolen) by a relatively few points...Of course this isn't an absolute, few things are, but if you'll watch, I expect you too will see a pattern.
As the Conservative/Republican demographic diminishes through attrition, the opposing side might not suffer the same losses in their voter base, which makes them even more dominant...How many hundreds of thousands have moved out of NY (and taken their money with them) versus what;s left behind on the tit or dole?

I do get what you are saying yes we are out numbered, but the dirty d's over all are lazy too! We can beat them if we all show up, we CAN win and have in the past.

That Stefanik will not run for re-election, is the biggest news.

She felt insulted over the lack of endorsement by Trump for Gov, and the UN position withdrawl...............instead of hanging around and supporting MAGA.................she is taking her marbles home to sulk..............I hope we elect a republican rep...this is my district.

Because our core principles, values, and morals vary so widely there will be no more democrats crossing over to republican than the inverse of republicans voting democrat...
I'm mostly single focus on Gun Rights as I believe they are the very core of our Freedom, a Right that no matter how hard They try to limit, restrict, or even eliminate, somehow we find a way around, even to the point of breaking the Laws, because deep down we know, we feel, and we've observed.
I don't know or have ever even heard of Blakeman and I suspect neither has most of the State..."His decision" to enter the Race had to be blessed by the Committee Chair of the NY Republican Party (that's who really controls what happens in government) This isn't the first time they've pulled shit like this and LOST the Election, likely won't be the last...I will vote for him simply because I despise Hochul and the Platform Democrats Support, additionally if able to, I will support the removal of Ed Cox from the position he holds as well as those that support him.
