Vermont Spent Millions on Electric Buses That Turned Out to be ‘Unreliable’ in Cold Weather​

Electric buses are proving unreliable this winter for Vermont’s Green Mountain Transit, as it needs to be over 41 degrees for the buses to charge, but due to a battery recall the buses are a fire hazard and can’t be charged in a garage.

Spokesman for energy workers advocacy group Power the Future Larry Behrens told the Center Square: “Taxpayers were sold an $8 million ‘solution’ that can’t operate in cold weather when the home for these buses is in New England.”
“We’re beyond the point where this looks like incompetence and starts to smell like fraud,” Behrens said.

And the Snake Oil salesmen representing NYS say the Busses are completely reliable in extreme cold weather, but what to they care, he'll make enough kick-back to buy a warm place in Florida.

Oh, this has got to be one of those "follow the money" scams as they bilk the tax payers for more dumbfuckery. Where are all the self serving 'investigative reporters', Oh yeah they're gushing ink in their lates effort to make Litigious James look Good again.

You don't think for a second that the Legislators and Bureaucrats involved aren't making Bank on sales commissions, land deals, and other infrastructure support for all these Busses do you?
Perhaps some of these massive Service/Delivery Charges assessed on our Utility Bills every month are going towards construction of Charging Stations, Sub-Stations to feed Chargers, Lines to carry Pixies, or recommissioning Power Plants?

You know damn well we are paying for all of this crap through our electric bills why do you think NY made it illegal for the power companies to single out all of the fees on our bills that go straight to NY.
