Agree. God doesn’t grant rights the constitution does. I never understood the God given rights thing either.

It states which cannot be taken away.
This thread is another fine example of why I hate being associated with NY gun owners.

If I was high and mighty enough to feel I had the righteousness to decide which other people should and should not own guns, which I realize I do not, those actively looking to lower gun ownership rates (ON A PRO GUN FORM!?!?) would be stripped first.

I can get on board with that meaning. I do not like it or agree with that term because Jesus in the Bible says you should follow the rules of the land. At times that’s a hard thing for me to follow because I don’t like what a lot of the government has to say. Of course, if it contradicts biblical laws and standards then you can go against the government per the Bible.
I just don’t like the saying even after what you said.

SCUTUS is going to vote in favor of smoking weed while using guns we can't have or are background taxed before being denied to use while the ammo is prohibited because that's not part of the 2nd amendment.

The premise of SCOTUS reviewing the Case over prohibiting persons from transferring guns to themselves while a user of ostensibly illegal use of controlled substances is at hand...Isn't that the main job of the Supreme Court, to decide the Constitutionality of the Laws written and passed? Marijuana is the focus, but the Ruling would have to apply to the entire clause.
I'll agree marijuana reduces mental acuity, but not to the point where guns (that they're possibly not supposed to have) are going to do anything they wouldn't have done while sober...your argument sounds narrow and remarkably like the ones used against alcohol and other mood modifying substances...and sometimes people just need money and have no more attachment to a firearm than a well used shovel.
How about no Victim, No crime?? Like they way it is suppose to be.. Everyone has Rights until there is a crime commited where a Victim is at hand then it should go to a Jury of your peers. All these "Thought" Laws or Licencing schemes are Bullshit illegal crap! Who the fuck is the Government or some bureaucrat to decide? They are suppose to be protecting ones rights.

I have. The only "mentally disabled" behavior they exhibit is losing their inhibitions against binge eating.
They are less likely to be mentally impaired than alcohol drinkers.

Apparently that "Law" needs to be fixed, as our current population is physically, mentally, and morally inferior to previous generations.
The Study published by USNEWS could easily be applied to any mind or mood altering chemical (Drug) with results expected to mirror those of cannabis. I am by no means a supporter or user, but I do feel we as a society and country have wasted more than enough time and resources trying to legislate and incarcerate self destructive human behavior.
