They aren’t saying it will. What they want to do is take the 11% use legal gun owners get them in stolen tax money and use it to fund their little pet projects. So essentially we will be funding our own demise as gun owners because we will be paying for them to come and confiscate our guns one day.

I feel horrible for FFL’s especially, and for legal gun owners overall, but when it comes to ANYTHING NYS, my attitude is to try to keep them from getting anything from me.
I have purchased one box of .38 special, cuz I don't reload for it. Th gun shop owner said there is no law requiring him to do a background check for ammo. He even offered his facility for drop off if I wanted to purchase in bulk. This was last month.
We can generally figure ways around it, but why should We have to? If We could actually get control or at least better apply pressure to OUR Government shit like this wouldn't rear it's ugly head.
I keep hearing this but that will never happen. They may get reduced sales in the end that might make a few less FFLS, but there’s only a few in the Buffalo area now so I don’t expect them to dwindle too much. I have spoken to the gun shops and the guys on this forum are in the minority. I bought a pistol a while back and I was talking to the gun shop owner and he said at first the ammo sales were down but they are back to where they were before the CCIA. This place built a new entire shop.
