As usual with most anything Democrats propose (and as I said in the other thread), I support the idea being advertised but oppose the method of implementation.
What they really should be taking aim at is streetlights, businesses, and public buildings. Lights outside houses don't even approach the levels of light pollution those three produce.

Us telescope nerds on the forum are all for dark skies. If you want an outside light just shield it so the light goes down where you need it not up in the sky.
