My 692 (357 & 9mm) convertible has been fabulous, so is my 856 Executive 38 Special. Only thing I have done is put a Galloway Percision spring kit to lesson the trigger pull. I have probably 3,000 rounds through the 692...not one issue...the new Taurus revolver are the best value out there...
"THEY" know exactly what they are doing, they want the patriots to start something...they need another January 6th to implement more tyranny. All the while we wring our hands hoping SCOTUS comes to our rescue...
It's not the $2.50, it's the waiting...fill out computer form, submit, wait till the blue-tie-gang grants the kings permission to purchase.
The saddest part is the current companies are going to quit selling ammo because it is too costly....all according to NY's plan to eliminate the 2A...
"......Good for Business.." LOL, yea for the bail-bondsmen, handyman( (to fix all the broken Motel rooms), Welfare office workers, and Car repair businesses after the "immgirants" no license drivers crash into your car...Thanks Kathy!!
Runnings (Brockport), manager said Sept 16 is their go date...$2.50 for each check for ammo (no limit on ammo amount), additonal $9.00 for firearm purchases. Gotta love the Dem One-Party-States like NY...
Had the same problem... the area where the bolt goes into is rolled steel. and is too tight around the bolt and dragging on it, causing all your issues. Things I did to cure it.
1) I lightly pollished the interior boby of the frame where the bolt goes into, inserted into the bolt area of the...
Hard Lesson in NY is...as a CC NYer, if you do pull it, you are going to jail...regardless.
SO, my priorities are now me/mine only...any previous "situations" I would have intervened in are now gone.
Sadly, just the way the state wants it, in NY victims are on their own, whereas the criminal...
are you sure you want one?... I have one and to be honest its pretty poorly made. I am very disapointed in Henry. It is no where near the quality that you get in their Big Boy Line. YMMV
Henry has an updated Lifter-arm assy for the 357, call them and give them your serial # and they'll send it out..drops right in and made my Henry smoother and no need to jam-the-lever-like-you-hate-it.
One aspect the MSM is barely covering of the trans-illness is they are stepping on Womens rights, they are using "Title-9" for thier agenda. LOL
TITLE 9...
"Conduct prohibited by Title IX includes sexual harassment, sexual assault, sexual violence, sexual misconduct, domestic/dating violence...
Taxpayer bailout in 3,2,1...
"Gotta Save the Climate Change hoax companies"...
"We'll lose a generation of start up companies in California"
"China will take the lead over us in Solar-power technology"....
"They" don't want any solutions, it's not in their best interests. They need/want Kaos to move things towards the political solutions they desire. This will never end...look no farther than Great Britain.."knife-control" lol
Buddy had his $20,000 Krieghoff K-80 Trap gun (plus other guns) taken during a nasty divorce (lawyer planned order-of-protection BS). Only got about half of them back...and NOT the K-80....
I have the R1 Carry from 2013 commercial run, same green case.
They are actually pretty nice, forged steel frame, match grade barrel..originally priced at about $1350-1450 in 2013..got mine new old stock in 2019 for $550.They are great gun for the money, really the last gasp of quality product...
I would try 6.5 or 6.8 or 7.62x39, I've shot three deer with a 300BO 110gr, all boiler room shots 100-125yds...Not impressed, lost one, other two ran 250-300 yards, needed follow-up shots...
Have had much better luck with the 7.62x39 Federal Fusion, same distance, only ran 20-30 yards both times..
