Step 1: Never listen to Chev.
Step 2: NEVER talk to police unless through an attorney. NEVER.
Step 3: Move guns out of state to a friend or storage unit in PA.
Step 4: Move out of NYC or the state as a whole; you will be much happier.
If you ask permission to move your legally obtained and...
Sounds like thats the way to go. The 365 is great for what it is but the xl is a little nicer to shoot. Ive never had issues with my thumb catching the slide release like chev mentioned but of course we all grip a little differently. The finish on all of my sigs has been ultra durable too.
That's the thing though- I learned nothing. I already knew RMR was the acronym that Trijicon came up with. The question was whether the term has been adopted to other reflex pistol optics (which it has). Not gonna derail the thread further though.
I'll keep calling them RMRs, you call them...
Cool well every holster company, gun store, and most enthusiasts refer to an RMR as any red dot pistol optic.
Kinda like every vacuum in Britain is a "Hoover."
We're allowed, get over it.
Bone stock Sig P365 with factory irons. I bought the 365X (NOT the XL) series slide with romeo zero pre-installed. I have one slide with irons, one slide with the romeo zero. Love them both.
Sig doesn't make an RMR? I had to look that up to be sure. RMR may be the term that Trijicon coined, but for all intents and purposes, Sig romeo optics are "RMRs." Just about everyone refers to a pistol red dot as an "RMR." Maybe this is like calling all tissues "Kleenex" but it works.
How come...
I have the 365 with romeo zero. I know the rmr gets a lot of flak but it was too cheap not to try. I just bought the X slide package with romeo zero so I can switch back to my factory 365 slide if I want a shorter gun.
One would hope. How could it NOT end up at SCOTUS at this point? That dumb, useless AG talks about the feds usurping state's rights but NOWHERE does it talk about the individual's rights. It's not about NY'ers. It's about the NY gov't asserting it's authority upon the world. Cuomo would have...
Wow. Read the article a little closer. You're a Republican, right? This is a good thing.
Toyota is a great company. They moved all of their operations from CA to TX because of the taxes and the hostile environment towards free market. They are one of the few automakers that aren't sleeping...
Baseboard radiators, all copper stuff, pipes looked decent when I took them apart, only light sludge build up. Water that came out was nice and clear, no smells or anything weird.
When you say force flush, do you mean just hooking up a barb at each of my loops and running city pressure through...
Looks good. Hopefully my setup turns out nice and clean. I am also doing the expansion tank off the bottom of the spirovent but I am teeing in my PRV there as well. This seems to be the norm now. I am putting air bleeders everywhere (the manual ones). I probably have too many but I don't want...
I didn't do too shabby on the stuff I soldered, but it was all a max of 3/4" dia. The misses has been pretty pleased with my work so far as well and as an added bonus, we're not paying for a contractor to come in.
I made the decision to go with Sharkbite at the last minute, as they updated their certifications to reflect approval for hydronic heating sytems. Sharkbite wasn't approved for hydronic systems when I started design. My insurance agent said Sharkbite is covered whether it's exposed, behind a...
Oh I bought a book on boiler system theory and design and I still have no idea WTF I'm doing.
If hiring someone was an option, I would have done it in a heartbeat. The more I learned, the more I realized how ill-prepared I was for this project.
Would not recommend any DIY'er attempt to install...
Thank you SO much for the offer. I might take you up on that although I am in the latter stages of the project so things are going well. My friend offered to let me borrow his pro press tool until I realized that the fittings are more expensive than Sharkbite and don't come apart as easy! I like...
We wanted to put in a combi-boiler this summer. It would free up space in the basement for a bathroom. The hydronic side of the heating system was already in place, lines just had to be run to the other side of the basement to reach the new boiler location. I called a DOZEN, no exaggeration...
He makes baseless claims for an hour and then threatens Raffensperger with some pretty vague but direct criminal consequences for Trump's *perceived* election irregularities. He did NOT conduct himself in a presidential manner at the very least and it shows that Trump was being a sore loser. At...
I'm sorry but in the current political climate, I am laying low and staying off the radar. No need to volunteer for the gulags; they'll find us all eventually. This comment period will do nothing but give them a list of all the most vocal dissidents.
I'm not sure how it works with guns, but there are a million aftermarket manufacturers out there that make bolt on accessories for automobiles (eg exhaust systems, intakes, tuners, lift kits, trailer hitches, even just aftermarket repair parts). I don't think making an optic that bolts on to a...
Yeah that's a bummer, I see that now. I looked on: Footprints/Mounting Standards on Red Dot Sights - Optics info
Maybe it wouldn't be such a big deal to modify the adapter plate for your rifle. I get not wanting to hack at the slide, but an adapter that might be $50-$100, probably worth the...
I wouldn't put my kids through the public indoctrination centers long before this CRT stuff came about.
We're going to home school. Even if it bankrupts us.
I don't agree with the sentiment that NY is a lost cause. Why do you think they're so desperate to pass this stuff? They know the previous gun control measures are likely going to fall apart in the coming years if they get to SCOTUS. They're flinging shit to see what sticks- and that makes me...
The judge compares the AR15 to the swiss army knife- prevalent and useful. A small win for sure that will 100% be reversed in the 9th circuit BUT a glimmer of hope. SCOTUS has been mostly unanimous lately; even on the firearms seizure case. I am optimistic.
Vedder light tuck arrived today. EXACTLY what I was looking for and the fit/finish is above & beyond the Just Holster It stuff Ive been using. No tooling marks, polished interior, beveled edges. They even cleaned it after machining which JHI would always send me new holsters full of kydex...
My fiance reminded me of my proclamation on day 1 of the pandemic: I theorized that the virus was developed to wipe out the older population and reduce the amount of Republican voter base before the election.
It's also funny how Trump was demonized for saying the same things that Biden is now...
