I also enjoy me some "pumpkin carving". I just do it a different way than everyone else. Ever tried shooting frozen water bottles? I was extremely impressed with shooting then with a variety of calibers including .22, .223 and even my Crosman 1377 airgun. The way they shatter chunks is very...
Yeah, that's a tough sell on my part when it comes to promoting my site. There is technically a good way to make a printed target a "splatter target". Simply back it with construction paper and it makes a good difference in my experience. But that only complicates things.
Well sir, I have some awesome news for you! What if I told you that you could print your own shooting targets, for just about the same cost? And yes, that includes cost of paper AND ink!
Just head over to Targets4Free to see for yourself! ;)
Okay, shameless self-promotion aside, I'm trying to...
I basically agree, but is it basically for my aforementioned reason? That there's no solid motivator to get enough people out on election day?
So when are we seceding again?
So I know there are quite a few kinds of popular targets that people like to shoot.
Some examples are B27, ICE QT, the typical IPSC/USPSA/IDPA silhouette... I've also tried the FBI Q.
What are some other popular "standardized" targets that you guys like to shoot, whether they're from official...
Honestly, the first name I originally heard running for NY was Larry Sharpe. I actually really like his stances generally, since I'd mostly describe myself as a libertarian, or at least a libertarian-conservative.
I also feel like Larry Sharpe running as a Libertarian will likely split the...
At this point, I wouldn't trust DeBlasio running a bar, let alone a city...
On that note, I couldn't really care less what he has to say about either of them, they're both trash. I never thought I'd say this, but in the absolute worst compromise ever, I'd probably take Cuomo over Nixon lmao...
Well I'll say this... With all the shitty NY-compliant stocks out there, this makes me want to vomit the least.
Come to think of it, is the only thing separating this between normal thumbhole stocks, the "rifle grip" angle of this thing?
Uhhhhh, this is just asking for trouble. As cool of an idea as it sounds, I would make the assumption that the caliber you're putting into the thing, would be the caliber they'd load to test to see if you're a "criminal" so to speak.
Which begs another question. Since you can load more rounds...
Interesting. Could it have been a weird one-off occurrence? Out of curiosity, I may try it myself when I head there on Friday.
But if it is blocked... Of course! NYGF is an undeniable threat to public safety!
I'm with GOPerfect on this one...
Trump could literally solve every problem in the entire world tomorrow, and the following morning there would still be headlines calling him a nazi. Trump Derangement Syndrome is hella' real and it seems like there may just not be a cure.
First of all... How does the Cuomo administration even have standing to sue the Trump administration for something that has nothing to do with his state?
No lawyer worth his salt would ever take such a thing seriously...
Really glad to hear that... No way in hell my first district would have approved it. The second, in Greene County would certainly have been possible. I'd say about 75%+ of the school had guns in their homes.
Come to think of it, why the hell didn't we have something like that..?
I can't believe you guys are FORCING me to have to defend Bill Clinton here... We can't even LOOK anymore!?
I'm a lot more concerned about the pastor that was literally grabbing her tits in front of millions of people. Talk about a creep.
And I thought gun buybacks were dumb. But hell, at least they give you money for the damn things! And as most people know, "nonprofits" don't actually mean no one gets paid. It's essentially going to a business, who will get free materials and give only 25% of proceeds back, the majority of...
"A view that doesn't take into account a law's effect on public safety."
Is that even part of the process of judicial review? A law's effect on public safety? As a future lawyer, I'd legitimately like to know. As far as I'm aware, the letter of the law is actually what matters, short of...
Of all the things to do with them, they're turning them into jewelry..?
Why..? :screwy:
"Community Improvement Projects"? How about, you know, actually correcting the problems that are plaguing these communities. Sounds more like gentrification, which I thought was a bad thing according to the...
"The court has blocked the sharing of the files on the site.." Pff yeah, that's gonna' be effective. 'Cause I totally don't already have a crap-ton of cad files for them.
My favorite part about the whole 3D printed gun hysteria? You can make a functioning (and relatively safe) 12 gauge shotgun...
Bro... That is an insane amount of money, though I guess I do understand the price tag.
Bad enough I'll probably never own a Garand due to the ridiculous prices we're seeing, and then you show me this thing. :(
Gotta say, I'm a little disappointed in you guys... I hate a lot of things McCain has said and done, but I certainly don't think we should be celebrating his death.
I think I'm with Livingston on this one.
"I will not celebrate his death ..... However I will celebrate the fact that he cannot...
Howdy, gang! I've been out of the forum loop for a while. Truth be told, I didn't even know what went down at nyfirearms. Just that the place was fairly dead at this point. So I did some searching. Lo and behold, I come over here to see a bunch of very familiar names!
Went by this name on the...
