I should qualify the 10%, that is for long guns. Handguns will be more as there is a lot more hassle. Gunbroker also charges a fee. I have been looking at that site as there are a couple of guns that need to be out of here.
That dumb*** was on my phone's homepage and I stupidly clicked on it and read it. She is syndicated, I believe. I think it sounded like a typical female, uneducated on firearms, response. Someone who looked up a stat or two to make herself sound like she knew something. It did not work.
Goes right on down the ladder, ever try to reclaim a stolen firearm that has been "recovered'?
Really, the employee is onto something, many parts and weapons could be sold. A cost conserving measure. Course, they would find a way to make what should be a money maker into a money looser.
pjzwtl, I have never seen a water jar on a hive. Is it dry in your area? Does it serve another purpose?
A friend of dh's has two hives out back. I have not been bothered at all by the bees. There are some gmo crops around but there are many in this area that are not. Hope it helps the bees...
I don't reload, yet. Dh does but, I think we speak different languages. No, we really do speak different languages, who am I kidding? I really need to know my stuff on this. 209 Primers, do they vary between brands? His answer is basically "yes"but I am lost after that.
I am looking at a...
I asked dh about this yesterday. I think we speak different languages. I don't want to highjack this thread so I will start a new one. This has been a helpful thread.
My outlook is things can change quickly. Who knows what back room deal is going to fall on our heads? A lesson I learned, what about 2013, stack it. I remember ds calling and asking if we wanted more .22lr and dh saying, "No, we have enough for now." It was about $18.00 for a bucket or...
Not sure how it would compare price wise, we bought a used small mill a couple of years ago. Originally from Harbor freight. They sell for about 2 grand there now. There is a site that sells mills, used and new, and you can find them there sometimes. This particular one has parts made by...
I need to see about advertising here. I know how I have priced the guns and ammo. I try to beat Midway on ammo and the guns are no where near MSRP. I agree most MSRP listings are ridiculous. I will say there are some comapnies one has to get approval from to sell and some of that approval is...
OK, I almost don't dare write this as I am new here and a LGS owner. I admit, often, I don't know something, guns and ammo are one of the most complicated subjects out there. Most models and calibers have a story, from design, engineering to marketing. I don't know a crap ton of this stuff. I...
I am sorry if I overstepped what I should be posting. I was so excited to see a mention of the shop I had to join the conversation on the other thread. I read the rules quickly and have to reread. I am just happy to find the site. NY is a tough stae (I am good at staing the obvious!)
When I...
I am afraid I may fit right in.....along with guns I am sitting here with calf slime and a bit of cow pooh on me. I hope that doesn't make me a bad person. :)
Mannsville, still a work in progress!
I was looking at property in Lewis County last year, online. I think if we move it will be out of state. Love the area, not so fond of what is going on law wise. I have to look at the vendor deal. I just found out about this forum a short time ago.
Hey, Thanks for the shout out! I am the crazed person, who with her husband, just opened a gun store in Mannsville. Yes, tech issues galore, I think the website is up and running as is FaceBook, not finished or polished but going. Never been on FB so it is a learning curve. I don't want to break...
Hello all, I am a Jefferson County Resident. My husband and I just opened a gun shop. We like to shoot, he reloads. Kind of short o time right now but this forum came highly recomended!
