I can't seem to keep a battery in a phone. I wish they were replaceable like to old days. I think all the outdoor winter activities kills it. It will be nothing during hunting season to watch my batter go from 100% to dead in 5 minutes in the cold.
I weeded my poor humble garden last night and realized that a few of the concrete panels are cracked bad. Needless to say this experiment failed terribly. I do think its mainly because the forms we made weren't done well enough. I do think I will start building wooden ones soon in preparation...
Funny you posted this, about 20 minutes ago I was having the conversation with my father about his garlic. He was swearing it was ready and i was saying it seems early. Ill let him know he probably should get after it in the next few days.
I really don't want to excavate, I would have to build up if I did anything. The reason being is it does get a decent amount of seasonal runoff that I think would end up being an issue.
I guess I should add the caveat that I don't plan on this structure being permanent more of a stepping stone until I build my actual garage. I am a little worried about settling of the gravel with that route because I would probably have to build a retaining wall to keep the gravel in place. It...
Well I'm a little late to this thread, but I have one of these to build this summer myself. My question goes all the way back to the beginning. Whats your opinion on doing the gravel like you did or blocking up the wood floor? I can't decide what method I want to use.
I planted my 1 bed yesterday. I really wanted to do another one this year, but I just don't have enough time. So now I have extra plants and a bunch of seed that I wont be using this year.
They interlock with rebar. This is where we had issues, broke 3 panels. They are sleeved with conduit and the rebar has just enough clearance. So they have to be perfect in order to lock together. My new solution to use the panels that are already made is to ream the conduit to give myself more...
Well I should say I gave it an honest attempt to hand pick it. I picked a spot on my leach filed that was about 15' wide and 60' long. I took out over 25 side by side bed loads out of it. Then I ran that spot over with a set of drags to level it out. I can tell you what you couldn't tell what I...
That's my 1+ acre rock garden. I can't get anyone to rock pick the lawn for me still. If it's not done by the fall I will end up renting the equipment and doing it myself.
Well I got the first bed in this weekend. I still haven't planted it yet. I really like the final product but I can tell you it fought something terrible. Most of the issues were self inflicted. My father took the lead of making the forms and pouring the panels. He didn't take enough time to...
A lot of people are now using the rotary ones without the SS media using this cleaner.

I used it a couple of times in my ultrasonic and it did well.

Close the thread thread!
I can't recommend these enough. I think @Marine Cpl bought one also from my recommendation.
With that said on my next build I will probably try something different to see what else is out there.
Lol I was shooting a lot of long range 308, then got busy. So I picked up pistol shooting because it was quick. But I never stopped buying Varget. I'm running low on bullseye, I'll have to remedy that soon.
The wife is the artist I'm just the builder. She free handed all of it. Still cant decide on what to do with the door cabinets. The bench is a catch all right now so sorry for the clutter.
Well I got more equipment to start my seeds. I cant get an ETA on when my light will come in. Should I wait for it to start my seeds or start them on the window?
Ya I keep reading up and sadly came to the conclusion using that soil and the sticks were not a good idea for me. So I'm still on the hunt, I have a few ideas for some around the house.
If you find any good info on root cellars. I've wanted to build one on my property since I bought it. There's an old foundation on it I think I could rehab it to work.
First of all damn you because now I want to spend some money! Secondly and might be a question for @dsdmmat is there a prevision to put a magwell on this gun. I would love to have a magwell and few 10 rounders with bump pads.
I would also recommend watching a few videos. I think RCBS put out some complete beginner videos and ammosmith also. Do not use load recipes from video or random websites, but they are good for process information.
For components, they are as hotly debated as Ford vs. Chevy. So the best thing...
It's a pretty complete setup and of good quality. It depends what your planning on reloading first if you need more gear or not. If you just reloading pistol your in good shape. If you want to do any rifle cases you still need a brass trimmer of some sort(that kit might have one in it). As far...
