    They said 156 rounds fired though. Mostly 5.56 (over 120). That equals at least 5 AR mags plus however many pistol mags. It doesn't look like the shooter in the video is carrying that much, if they are they must have been about out of ammo by the time they were neutralized.

    45-70 can be hard to find and is pretty expensive though, not what you would call a plinking caliber! Beerman, if you want to stay away from the 30/30 the pistol calibers are probably a good choice.
