Nothing special...
These caught my eye while in Harbor Freight
Think they'll be the nuts for turkey hunting and crossbow season. Quite comfortable with breathable backs actually, great dexterity.
I'd love one of those flash bangs. The perfect moment would be about 11p when everyone's quiet and thoughtful staring at the campfire after their 10th beer or so
You're kidding, right? The top talent is in private practice, making boat loads more money.
These are the wanna be's who can't cut the mustard and need a paycheck no matter how incompetent they are.
Just showed up
Trulock turkey choke tube for my Benelli 20 gauge. Got the .045" constriction versus the .055", as I want to use it with both #4 and #6 shot, and as a general rule #4 and larger shot doesn't pattern as well as #5 & #6 in tighter chokes.
Man. I haven't been to that since before universal background checks. I remember going on Sundays to look for deals cuz dealers didn't want to haul stuff back, and seeing a brand new Ruger Mini 14 for $475. Those were the days.
Just arrived
Some more Pro-Shot goodies...
Bulk shotgun cleaning patches (can you ever have enough?)
3- 12 gauge Tornado brushes
3- 20 gauge Tornado brushes
12 gauge shotgun cleaning jag tip (if you're not using these for your shotgun cleaning chores you're missing out)
2-pack of gun cable...
Actually after I posted it, it's a bit much because he wouldn't need the CDS-ZL, but the scope size and magnification range is relevant. Leupold offers similar scopes in the more budget friendly VX-Freedom line, but still offers quality.
Personally I welcome the hunting hours change. Long overdue imo.
Mixed feelings on the fluorescent orange/pink requirement. Do I think it's a good idea to wear it? Yes. Do I wear it? Yes. Should it be a legal mandate? No.
Same with the seat belt law and the motorcycle helmet law, the 21 years...
FYI, for those who aren't aware yet, I received an email yesterday from DEC that big game hunting hours have changed from sunrise to sunset, to 1/2 hour before sunrise to 1/2 hour after sunset, effective this season. This is a long overdue change I welcome.
Let's keep it safe out there!
Edit-...
It's a political pissing contest, under an administration whose foreign policy is a flaming disaster, and the individual at the helm doesn't even know what year it is.
Yeh, just like they're 'allegedly' in business to make money and turn a profit. Olin stock is a Buy.
That $20M plant expansion we were considering? Do It.
My goodness, talk like that and we would have lost WW2.
Depends on what you're looking for.
My opinion, domestic manufacturers will do what it takes to fill the void.
Of course prices are higher, it's the law of supply and demand in a capitalist society.
I still have the same 6-D cell Mag Lite I bought as an MP for duty purposes. Been a bit over 40 years.
The Billy club that's not a Billy club cuz it's a flashlight.
At the risk of being unpopular...or more unpopular than I already am, as the case may be...steel cased, steel jacketed bullet ammo with a copper wash was never a priority item for me so...there it is
Just arrived..
Would you just look at that. My fave brand too. Grouse and Woodcock loads.
I pretty much am all set in the 20 gauge ammo department now, except I WOULD like a case of Fiocchi Golden Pheasant or Winchester Super Pheasant 3" mags loaded with #5 shot.
If it's not in the cards...
I do understand your point.
I have a Leupold VX-R 4-12×50 (has adjustable brightness red dot in center of crosshairs) currently on my .308, and I love it. That red dot never gets lost in the shadows, as crosshairs sometimes can.
I already have the scope, and rings.
Perhaps I could consider the red dot option later, a light and suppressor would be a higher priority, since I already have SOMETHING for sighting equipment, that is in character for the rifle and intended use.
So now, I'm into it for the rifle, ordered with or without a decent trigger, so if without...
The cost of a better trigger and...
A light and...
I'd really like a suppressor.
The sighting equipment I plan to use is a Leupold VX-2 1-4×20. I feel it's an appropriate scope, lightweight...
