correct me if I'm wrong but hollow points are pretty shit when it comes to taking down bear correct? fmj is better because you'll get full penetration through their hide and muscle fibers?
Not a damn thing. We're getting a bunch of rain that's going to flash freeze on Monday down here. I'm gonna do some serializing tomorrow and probably drill and tap my bolt release on my new shotgun for the enlarged release I ordered today. Maybe hit the gym in the afternoon. Maybe I'll try...
First real edc knife I bought that I could remember was a Kershaw assisted opening knife. Had a 3.75 in blade on it. Had it on me one day and I got surprised with going to a rangers game for the night. Which means msg in Manhattan. Had to toss it in the garbage somewhere to avoid being detained...
I haven't been to the range in months. starting to suffer withdrawls. I have to finish loading up my ladder test tomorrow that i started months ago before i moved. still haven't got a proper reloading setup finished. hopefully it'll all be ready for February challenge.
fuck getting it in, you ever try to get it out? 10x worse. buy an extra spring or detent if you ever want to remove it, you won't be finding those afterwards unless you're also short an eye.
4.0 v6. Dohc model, believe it was german made. It's definitely a solid engine with a lot more getup then you'd expect for a v6 suv. I do know there was a know issue with this engine. Something about valve timings or timing chain I believe, but if you made it past 100k without any issues then...
Yes, it's back up.
has around 175,000 on the clock.

It's a workaround. Notice they only say if it's manufactured by the individual. Because if they tried doing it in a way that stated they were banning homemade guns, well that would be against prior SC judgements.
working towards being 100% debt free TBH. Federal student loans i can live with, they're low interest. the private ones i had to take, nah, want those gone, hopefully before i finish school.

I think if I had 12,500 rounds, and lived somewhere that 30 rounders and drums were readily available, I'd go through it in a summer plus 1-2 months. Range fees are neglible. Ammo isn't cheap though.
Edit: missed the follow up of it being in regards to shtf. Agreed.
whenever I'm testing loads I'll do a 5 round group. i have 5 bags of 5 rounds for a ladder test ready to go in one of my ammo boxes right now. i need to load another ladder then find a day to get out. harder than it sounds.
Thanks for the rez.
Few new ones.
Having loads finally coming together for your gun, and you lose the time to shoot for a few months.
Finally getting your setup exactly how you want it then being told your house is getting sold and the only apt you can afford doesn't allow room for a...
I had an aero m4 lower that I built up but ended up selling. You're supposed to clip a few coils off that spring to get it to fit. It's damn near impossible to otherwise, plus you'd never be able to get the rear takedown out.
