I can't find the meme now but my fiend showed me one the other day that I lol'd at. Basically went:
Now that Elon owns Twitter these are the new rules that will be implemented:
420 likes earns you 1 Musk Buck. 69 Musk Bucks allows use of one free ethnic slur.
I agree, when abortion came up if I were Lee I would've said "So you care about women so much where we you when your former boss was sexually harassing dozens of them in his office?"
Eh, while it definitely wasn't a route I don't think he did that bad, especially as the night went on. He was a little too animated and almost mini-Trump-esque in the beginning but landed some good points as the time went on. Honestly, the only thing Hochul had was that she remained completely...
They're definitely trying to spin this as a right-wing attack. Just saw a segment on the news about it and they said that police recovered an "AR-style" weapon with a defaced serial number and "We the People" etched into. It's probably one of those novelty dust covers but they'll make it sound...
Liberty Trading Post (Ace Hardware) and Tractor Supply in Liberty, NY (both Sullivan County) have lawful concealed carry permit signs on their doors. Not sure it's all Ace hardwares and Tractor Supply stores or just those two.
I love how they're portraying her as the female second coming of Benito Mussolini. She basically just wants to make sure Italy isn't flooded with illegal migrants anymore. How that is "far right" or "neo-fascist" as I keep hearing her referred to is beyond me.
Now if only France could elect...
Bought a lot of lousy holsters in my day. It was true when I was warned that most holsters will wind up in boxes under your bed (I now have two). I wasn't impressed with the Accu-Strut for the Mini-14 either.
Debates today are pretty much useless for the above mentioned reason. For big offices like President a 30-60 minute PowerPoint that each candidate gives on their plan/platform would be much more reasonable.
I have both a P365 and a P365XL. By no means do I have a lot of rounds through them but I never had this problem. I also never took apart the striker. I basically just stick to field stripping and cleaning my handguns.
My understanding is that the railroad folks aren't asking for a raise but asking for better scheduling. At least my (admittedly limited) understanding of this issue many railroaders are on call 24/7 for weeks on end and they want the companies to hire more staff to not have that happen. I don't...
We had a conversation about it at work today. It's not my department but we get water treatment chemicals predominantly sent by rail. If the rail strike happens some really big manure could potentially hit the proverbially fan. Other water treatment utilities could face the same issue.
I believe they wrote down the lot number when I bought ammo recently. What that accomplishes I really don't know. Not like they can really track that.
Probably also put down that I bought two boxes of super deadly hollow point ammunition. Look out! This guy's got a whole 50 rounds of cop killer...
I agree in the end this is fairly meaningless just like all the anti-SAFE Act resolutions back in 2012-2013. If you have a pistol permit and are carrying in one of the "sensitive" locations the cops are definitely going to arrest you (at least the State Police are and I bet many of the local PDs...
How much you want to bet more than two boxes of ammo will be "flagged" if they get their way?
Also reminds me of the video of the guy who got visited by the ATF because he bought multiple guns and they suspected him of straw purchasing.
I did it out of curiosity more than anything. They also said they couldn't sell any semi auto long guns as the state hasn't figured out the permit system for them yet.
