I ordered a nitride Toolcraft from WCArmory.@ $66.95+ 7.95 priority shipping.
It shipped this morning.
I paid using two gift cards ( one was my Black Pack rebate), the other didnt clear as I did not activate it properly.
He shipped before being fully paid.
Trusting fellow.
I must have an honest...
I read an article by Faxon ( manufacturer of barrels and other parts) and they claim that 9310 steel is better than Carpenter 158.
C158 is MilSpec and at the time. a good steel. 9310 is newer and 7% better.
Faxon has a good reputation for barrels. so I will take their word on this.
I am in need of a BCG , 5.56.
I'm looking online at various vendors and there are too many choices. 931o steel vs Carpenter 158 , Phosphate vs Nitride....
I'm not spending the money for a boron or shiny bcg, a black one is fine.
There are a couple of vendors with them for $69.99 .
Is there a...
1911 grips on an AR is easy.
Many older non electronic paintball guns use standard M16 pistol grips.
For $25ish you can get an aluminum grip that accepts full sized 1911 panels and wrap arounds.
I've had Hogues for years.
Search for CCI Phantom 45 .
There is currently one on Ebay under "Phantom...
31 police officers were sued over the Orlando nightclub shooting for not entering the building and violating civil rights.
Seems that they detained everyone exiting the place ( which seems logical as they had no idea how many were involved in the attack).
The off duty cop/ security was sued for...
By "pinned magazine" I take it that you mean non removable or "fixed" mag.
"pinned" has been used to refer to a magazine
limited to 10 rds.
Your friend and Facebook group and FFL are all wrong in saying that NYers can have mags with a capacity of more than 10 bullets , be it rifle, pistol...
They just released the 40 caliber PCC in April of this year. The PCC ( Pistol Caliber Carbine ) in 9mm was released in Dec of 2017.
The PC9 and PC4 ( Police Carbine) were produced from 1996 to 2006. Totally different guns than current models.
Runner is selling the newer models that use...
That article is from Apr 2018. Are those same students and parents still as concerned/paranoid today?
I'm much more fearful of a distracted driver harming my family than any type of shooting.
Its more widespread than NY/CA ...we had a teen from rural Virginia visit last summer and offered to take him shooting.
He declined cuz , well you know...gunz .
He wasn't a wuss as they rode dirt bikes and such. He was indoctrinated about firearms.
I watched the one with subtitles on Netflix. I see that it has been voice overed in multiple languages, didnt look for an English version.
I liked it. I preferred season 1 due to the "magic " of the virus in season 2. I hope it continues.
I think that it is better than FTWD.
I also liked...
I FINALLY got my Federal Black Pack rebate from the Black Friday purchase .
Submitted ( mailed in ) in Dec, they entered it in Feb, its been "processing" for 3 months.
Rule # 1:
Dont believe what you hear at a gun shop...from behind the counter or in front.
By "pinned nagazine" I take it you mean non removable.
If so. the rifle does not fall under the category of " assault rifle" and you may have all the scary features you desire.
https://safeact.ny.gov...
There's nothing new there.
We NYers, depending on county, pretty much are already burdened by similar regulations.
Finger prints...yep
Background check...yep
Gun safety class....yep
interview....some counties
5yr renewal....yep
^^ Nope.
A brother is not exempt from NICS/ transfer.
Gun is in Nevada, so if shipped, the lower or complete rifle has to go to a FFL. FFL will require a NICS to release lower.
Not all FFLs will deal with an AR or lower due to the BS .
If transported from out of state, it will need to be...
Checking the BST on Arfcom , ( AR15.com) and a seller in Duthchess county has the following for sale.
I'd buy it but too far away from me. I do not know the seller.
RCBS rock chucker press, Dies 9mm, 223, 22-250, 243, 3006
lyman case tumbler, rcbs competition powder measure with stand...
My biggest "con" on the Henry is the tube feed.
It's not a problem for hunting or as a range gun but I tend to buy guns with SHTF in mind and it would seem that side loading is a plus. Tactical reloads are not as practical with tube feed.
I too would like a 357 ,
As seen in the comments to the link above Henry is making rifles with feed gates/ side load .
Which, to me. is bigger news than slapping cerakote on a gun.
$189 @ GrabAGun vs $500 for their Single Six ( 22 LR & 22 Mag cylinders) .
Make it cheaper, hopefully sell more. Like they did with the SR9--Security 9 semis.
There were plenty of PCCs at the Syracuse gun show today. Best price i saw was $480 including a Glock mag.
Other pricings were $510- $599.
There were a couple of PC9s ( $800ish) and a PC45 at $1100
I'd be interested in the Mlok for my Ruger.
Also, the PCC with accept Ruger SR40 mags and will...
That's messed up.
The State will now cover Ezekiel's meals, and housing, and provide him with a cozy room.
I hope his roommate is not the type that likes to cuddle afterwards.
I like the "novelty" lowers, my favorite being the Snek one.
Could someone translate what the logo and selector text are referring to?
PSA's Spacerider, Reaper and Christmas ones make sense. This one , not so much.
