Been there a bunch of times but these were never on the guns before. They don't come off, so you can't manipulate the trigger. Idiotic.

I could imagine their gun sales will plummet if people can't pull the damn triggers. I've never bought a gun from them either. Only reason I asked to handle it was because it's a really unique gun that I've never seen in person, but would really liked to have been able to pull the trigger. Oh well.

From what I heard it wasn't relayed to the officers as a welfare call. It was instead an "open premises" call, i.e. potential burglary or home invasion. Lots potentially lost in translation from caller to dispatcher.

Even if she did have a gun in her hand, she was completely justified in skiing so. Not once did he indicate that he was a police officer. Just awful.
