His advice in this case is spot on. Come on now Will. FMJ/Solids are a terrible choice for carry. The FBI (that does all the tests you like) don't carry them! Unless it's a 1911 with ball ammo like Jeff Cooper carried it's a bad choice.
They denied the family wish to have him spend his final hours home. Some judge in a stupid costume decided how and where their child would die.

I went to the range today at lunch and put 150 through the new H&K. I shot gold dot 124 +p then the underwood right after it. I could tell a difference in recoil for sure. It was not a huge difference but it was there for sure the underwood seemed to bark a bit more also. I also shot 50 FMJ...
Got here today. I even bought a box of the penetrator (not sure why). Thanks for the heads up. I have a new H&K. You would love it. Safety (cocked and locked) and a de-cocker.
I can't remember... has any striker fired gun aced the test? I think it's a bit of an extreme test but you have said you can see it being realistic I think? HAAAA To be fair the CZ had a light primer strike just like the Glock. That ammo is know for hard primers.

I have a pgo 870 20ga. It's easy to put all the buck shot on the target across the room from the hip or at eye level. I always read they were worthless. That is not true for me but it's still more of a range toy.
