SAP? That's German right? Let's not forget ww2 (and ww1). So you hate everything Japanese because of the past but implement systems that make the Germans money? Seems odd but whatever.
I was talking big bear (coastal brown ect.). The .223 or x39 are bad choices for black bear also. Sure they can do that job but why? There are so many better choices. Many deer have been killed with a .22. That in no way makes a .22 a deer rifle. Handguns suck for bear protection, AK's suck for...
Just a few (around 300 fps) and about 50 grains more weight make a world of difference. A 7.62x39 is a lousy choice for a big bear country rifle. Things like a .44 mag are recommended because they are easy to carry (being a handgun). Sue is also a dreadful hunter. I have seen here shoot a...
You read about the .45 acp hi point that someone used to kill a grizzly in Alaska? No good on frying pans in some cases but it can drop big nasty bear!

I would stay away from magnums. Even the 7mm rem mag in a light rifle can beat you up. I would go 7mm-08 or 260. If you want common calibers 30-06 or 308 are both great.

You can't really fix it easily. The sweat guard won't really allow it. I'm also not taking a hair dryer to a brand new $100 holster. F all that. They say it's fine so I sent it back. Will update everyone but I think they will issue a refund.

Bwah haha! You didn't read very carefully. Notice I said "if someone is afraid of harming people in other rooms" I didn't say I used light bullets. The light varmint bullets are used by quite a few people believe it or not. You should make your test as scientific as possible. Shoot your actual...
Of course it depends on what .223 bullet is used. The light fast stuff is safer for hd use if someone is afraid of harming people in other rooms.

The best is not one size fits all. A shotgun might be the best for home defense for some people. I know you like PCC's. I think if you're going to use a long gun it should be in a proper rifle caliber. There is no "the best" one size fits all for every situation. My go to is a 16 inch ak variant...
The shotgun is popular for many reasons. One of them is because many upstate guys grew up hunting deer, turkey, ducks and clay birds with the same dozen gauge. Not everyone could afford more than one gun. They also slapped an 18 inch tube on it and used for hd. If you have used a shotgun your...
I have only had it 3 days. I asked about a refund. No reply yet. We shall see. Based on their reputation I think they will take it back. If they just had kydex to the same level as my leather holster pictured above I think it would have been fine Seems like a bad design to me but they say otherwise.
Well Blackpoint said there is nothing wrong with it. They try to keep that gap down while still allowing a smooth draw they said. I'm not comfortable with that seeing how I have kids running around my house. I want a flush fit over my trigger guard. A Raven concealment holster had a similar...
I have one and I like it very much. It's not concealable but you are not looking for a primary conceal carry rig. I got mine from like $35 new about a year ago. Check the ebay.
I took pics of what concerned me. Does not make much sense to document what's not concerning me but side pics now posted.

I will post pics comparing my roc city vs this one. I will have to get it In the morning it's in the bedroom and the wife is sleeping. Here are some pics of another kydex holster on a sit and a leather holster on the same m&p. I will also post side pics even though that is not concern, it's the...
The trigger guard is covered. Right angle shot won't show otherwise. It's just got a gap on either side I can put a
Finger in.

It's very easy to conceal. Button up shirt and go. It's even easier in cool weather. The light does not go past the muzzle so it's no different than normal owb carry. Like I said I like having lights in the woods at dusk and dawn. This is also my nightstand gun so it's nice to grab it and go. I...
