EVs are for certain people. Not me. Yes, they are neat fast whips. However it really depends on use case. Just don't shove it down people's throats.
After seeing what is going on, this has further secluded me from wanting any EV.
I'm a skinny runner dude that weighs 120# wet at 5' 4". I have to choose wisely when I CCW. Mostly jeans and a sized up shirt usually works.
Only one time my gun stuck out. A couple years ago I went into a local welding shop to pick up some shielding gas and somehow my shirt got pulled up when...
I agree 100%.
This goes along the lines of we should have diversified energy availability. For electricity, we should have coal, natural gas, and nuclear. For vehicles, it should be diesel, gas, and EV.
The whole "green" idea was, in my opinion, a national security threat to the country.
It's...
It does. That is why I went diesel with everything.
As long as it's not biodiesel, it lasts a long time.
I'm hoping with Zeldin's efforts, the prices of diesel will go down to below or at the price of gasoline. Along with allowing vehicle manufacturers to produce more diesel vehicles with less...
No. Only CA does currently. I could see Horechul getting an itch up her ass to do something like a CA requirement. Heck, they could name it NYARB (NY Air Resource Board).
You see, it's perfectly legal to do this, because there is no Constitutional advice to go on with this. However, at the rate...
For those that remember OTB (Off Track Betting), my dad would frequent that place, and they'd have the cigarette vending machine at the front by the door. I remember my dad handing me money to feed to machine to get him a fresh pack of cigs.
I also remember days during the important races, the...
Exactly.
Don't forget, a lot of people that want us in NATO are the same ones in office that are 70-80 years old and think we still live in the Cold War era.
I occasionally get the strange look from places buying diesel fuel additives like PowerService or HotShots EDT. I tell them, what you, think I'm going to snort it or drink it to get a high off it? I tell'em, there's better stuff in this store to do that.
Anytime I buy manufactured, which is exceedingly rare now a days, I need to open the box and inspect what is inside. Mainly due to the respect that most if not all ammo sales are FINAL.
First to make sure it's what I am buying in the box, and secondly to make sure the ammo physically looks...
Just think, that little bastard now gets three hot meals a day, clothes, shelter, water to drink/shower with, supervision, all on our tax dollars.
And yes, you are likely right, a free education.
Man does that make me irate.
There was a scenario when a friend bought a brand new gun from Cabelas/Bass Pro and it had the trigger lock on it. They got it home and found that it was broken from the factory as the trigger wasn't functionally working. He fought with them, and nope, deal with the gun manufacturer. Man was he...
I run a small business too. NY taxes kill me.
I heard Maryland is downright disgusting what they put businesses through, especially if you try to relocate your business!
One thing I hate is the whole tax scenario we got going in most states for online purchases. Like say I buy something in TN online, I still get charged NYS sales tax. I should be paying the TN local tax for where that business is located at. It should not be based off of the buyer's address. It...
Now that powder and primers and other reloading components are in stock at most of my LGS, I shop there, even if its a tee bit higher.
It's nice to throw the stuff in my truck and drive home with it rather than dealing with shipping from Natchez and other online venues.
Problem is, every time...
Keep movin' peon, nothing to see here.... Thread should be locked and the key thrown away cause a majority of us believe undoubtedly we will wake up one day, with the gestapo purple tie squad telling us to "hand'em over" in our own homes.
My best advice, go lobby down in DC or go write Trump...
Reading through the comments, giving them automatic death penalty for killing a cop? How about making it the same across the line? You kill someone (not in the act of lawful self defense), you die too. Pretty simple.
It goes along the line of 1st and 2nd degree murder, with 1st degree making it...
You know, I've always wondered this.
I have a valid Utah permit, and obviously there is no mag limit there or with the states that recognize it. I should be allowed to purchase a standard (in Free America) capacity magazine in NY and say I am going to "transport" it out of state. Whether I do...
A lot of companies do this now, especially with Docusign and Adobe.
I can make executive decisions right from the comfy seat of my work truck and laptop in Tim-buk-tu. 99% of the time, it is electronic paperwork. It's an electronic signature when I sign.
Rarely do I physically sign for things...
It's funny, I got a 275 gallon diesel tank, because 95% of what I use at my house is diesel, including my generator. So I buy in bulk. Saves a little bit, but it's more for SHTF/convenience purposes. It's nice pulling my truck up to my pump, filling it up and pulling it into the garage. No...
I drove by a prison today, and they are folks camping outside the prison. I should've taken some pictures, but I was in a hurry to get the work truck/trailer back to work because I'm off tomorrow.
As many say it including myself... a right delayed is a right denied.
These permits need to go. They aren't stopping anything but costing us all money.
I still remember walking around in that mall, when you could walk around in it.
About 10 years ago I got to go inside the defunct area of the mall and it brought back memories.
Amazing how Basspro was once a Montgomery Wards. In fact, if you look carefully inside and out, to the trained eye...
I keep hearing that the town wants to convert it into housing/mini-city due to all of the strip malls. Ever since the main anchor stores left.
I dunno, have no reason to set foot on those grounds. In fact, I don't even like the town of New Hartford, but I got one family member that lives there.
My family who lives in New Hartford/Utica area told me that it was locked down tighter than a drum that Saturday afternoon.
I was also told there is a lot of gang activity at the Pinz (bowling alley).
Ain't the mall I remember as a kid, especially when Pennys, Sears, and you had Kleins All...
As much as I'm impartial to Canada, they are starting to irritate me with their actions lately. I can only imagine the citizens that don't like Trudeau and need to deal with his shenanigans. Really puts Canada on the negative side.
Shame, because Canada is such a beautiful country. Kind of like...
I love the look on Zelensky's face at the end -- looked like he was gonna cry. Trump whipped his ass.
My gosh, this was the best Friday entertainment I've seen and even Trump said so. :D
I love it... Trump to Zelensky: You're country is in trouble.
And Zelensky keeps are arguing. Zelensky's a damn coward.
Zelensky doesn't know how to run a country. He's a joke.
I'd love to work for Trump. :salute:
I want Putin to put Zelensky behind bars... and that is being nice. I'm sure Putin would like to use Zelensky as cannon fodder.
Zelensky is nothing but a lying, cheating, no good nothing, dictator, American money grabbing thief, child killer, and...... everything else.
All Zelensky has done...
It should be a law that all lights be sensor based. None of this timed shit.
There are some places I drive where they set the lights to change one right another. Could be 2AM and I hit all of the fucking lights.
Another law should be a proper timing sequence of lights. I don't know how many...
Nice rig!
Despite what folks have told me, I personally never ran into any modern diesel issues. Got well over a million miles on my belt with medium duty trucks running diesels. Maybe I'm lucky? Never had that luck with any of my gassers and their damn EVAP systems.
