    Ar15 thread removal question

    Well I jb welded the thread and screwed it on and wiped it clean. Nothing short of a blow torch or cutting the tip off will remove it now. I got a nice cap on there that is flush with the barrel so won't have issues removing anything later down the line. thanks everyone for the advice.

    How will epoxy hold up against the heat after firing lets say 50-100 rnds? Also would removing the threads cause any issue with the barrel other then cosmetic?

    Hey guys, I do apologize if this has been covered already. My question is, if I use a dremel to grind the threads on my barrel, and then file and sand it smooth, will this compromise the integrity of the barrel/accuracy of the gun? If I'm good to go, is there a way to take my thread protector...
