My guy charges $75. Maybe next time, I will use an out of state FFL where I have my non-resident permit and purchase necessary items there instead. I will have to check if the out of state FFLs will allow that (as long as its legal in NYS, that is).
For those who may be using the Taser CQ 7, you cannot beat this price. Less than 1/2 of buying from the manufacturer or many other places. It's also the 25-foot range but you can get the shorter 12-foot range if desired for the same price. :(...
Imagine, if you will, a world where at that particular moment, everything is battery or electric operated, you are connected, everything is going along smoothly, and then, all of a sudden, the lights go out due to a high altitude EMP or cyberattack...
I have all of my stuff that is 'questionable but legal' under NYS law shipped out of state. Unenforceable. This way, if I am questioned while NYS, it's legal but they will wonder where I got it from. There is nothing illegal about out of state purchases (yet).
Can a dealer transfer a serialized lower receiver to an individual who does not have a semi-automatic rifle license?
A serialized lower receiver is defined as a major component, not a semi-automatic rifle. Because of this, serialized lowers can be transferred to customers who do not possess a...
PSA, PA, BCA, and many others will sell complete uppers. It's the stripped/full lower portion that you need to worry about where your FFL gets involved.
Keep 2 in the car and 2 at home. You see people passed out on the street sometimes. I would help if I felt *comfortable* and depending on the area and circumstances (gat by my side just in case)...
Thinking about this one for the warmer weather. Need something better than a belly band....

Any law passed is another form of control. I agree (in principle) with the law but not that it should be formally "allowed" by NYS law. This is just another disguised attempt to control medical costs and has nothing to do with compassion on the part of government.
Yup. This was the driver. DONT post the instructions via the manufacturer on-line or on the packaging. Any jail-house attorney could have won this just based on manufacturer arrogance and disregard (not a bad thing to be sure).
Disclaimer: They make good products, BTW... :)
I normally drive a bit out of the way via NY-17/I-86, bypassing that state. Adds about 20 miles to my trips but lowers the anxiety just in case the truck breaks down and 'assistance' is dispatched.
I vote yes for 372-2026. It will probably never come up for a vote. $340 (new), $140 (renewal) is excessive and disenfranchises a lot of law-abiding citizens in NYC.
In addition to a NYS FFL charging $250 for the NJ Class, then the NJ Fees of $200, as well as the IdentoGo fingerprinting fee of $66.50, this will bring the total for the "privilege" of lawful carry in NJ to over $500.
Thoughts, or just keep my stuff locked away in the trunk while traveling...

Police found Kendrick armed with a Glock modified with a full-auto switch that turned it into a rapid-fire weapon, at the time of his arrest, according to 11 Alive.
Except in NYS.
Edit: It's an AI generated video. Any truths here? I notice that this same guy (AI generated?) keeps showing up on the YouTube channels..
