Several states already charge an annual personal property tax on vehicles (CO, KY, NC, AL, MO, AR, TX, etc.). Low sales tax and low/no income tax are nice, but it does suck to pay taxes on your vehicles every year at re-registration. Still doesn't suck as much as living in NY though!
I did see a press conference today with the OG accuser and her lawyer, they are pressing SA charges and going forward with a criminal investigation. Apparently there are 3 more victims working with this same lawyer. Hoping this doesn't fall out of the news cycle.....
Or Bernie undercutting HRC in 2016? There is a long history of this...(fat boy in NJ not throwing the GOP behind Astorino, so party nipples could get the W, etc., etc., etc.)
Oh look, another politician accused of sexual misconduct (when it suits the party's needs). Why are the cries solely for him to resign, and instead not for him to be prosecuted? HMU when someone actually goes to jail.
Didn't bother reading, but the fact that there are 30+ pages in an application "packet" that is required for submitting a request to exercise a Constitutional Right leaves me shaking my head. How do you guys even deal with that shit?
I don't want people like this representing me as a "lawful gun owner".

This guy is jacked up on felony charges while states like KY have "Court Days" festivals where tables full of guns are sold by private vendors (no BGC required for private sales) in a big open-air gun flea market.
So, I'm living in the RV out in the middle of the desert Southwest. If it wasn't for checking in with this thread, I would have no clue WTF is going on with all this. I'm inclined to believe that most of "normie" America is is not aware/doesn't give a f_ck either. Just sayin.
Just my .02.....
KY Rep just introduced a similar MG bill in the Bluegrass....HB 749:
"The structure of HB 749 is elegant, efficient, and maximally freedom-oriented. It creates the Office of Public Defense inside the Department of Kentucky State Police, empowering the director to procure machine guns “of like...

Article about Ramadan, with an after mention of: "Oh yeah, Friday is also the first Friday of Lent".

Didn't "walk away because I feel it's a lost cause", I walked away because I wanted to enjoy the freedom that those in pro-2A states feel in my lifetime: suppressors, standard cap mags, Constitutional carry, walking into a gun store....picking out a handgun...paying for it....and walking out the...
Just being pragmatic. I fought the good fight for 30 years in NY, finally got tired of fighting and moved somewhere that I can actually enjoy my 2nd amendment rights before I die. Good luck with your battle.
I'm not a conspiracy theory guy, but isn't BC making a whole lot of noise about refusing to comply with Ottowa's gun control, and also talking about succession from Canada? Just sayin...
It is ugly, and was common...dime a dozen, so I don't fault your reasoning at all. I just lucked out, being that I like old (and sometimes ugly) guns, and caught the collector bug. It was never about investment, just feeding the 'tism. Hindsight is 20/20, right? Nice appreciation on that...
I guess time will tell, but considering that run of the mill 91/30's are going for @ $500, and the legit snipers are running $2-3k , I'll just hang on to mine and ride the market for a bit longer. The SAKO M39's in the collection have appreciated nicely too. Pretty much every single milsurp...
I don't think it's a "thing" in NY, maybe I'm mistaken? Pawn shops where I live have some pretty extensive gun selections, usually willing to wheel-and-deal too.
Would you feel this way if the next Dem Administration that comes into power did the following:
Targeted Detention: It allowed the, often indefinite, confinement of thousands, including prominent Maryland politicians and secessionists, such as in the John Merryman case.
Military Authority: It...
