Below is the email address for the Westchester County Executive. I have sent an email stating that i believe if would be appropriate for the county to dedicate the pistol range at Blue Mountain to our beloved friend and range officer Walton "Walt" Wallace. I think that this should and could be accomplished with a little effort from all of us if we all send a email to the County Ex.. Walt dedicated himself to the Sportsman Center for 30 years. He worked tirelessly to keep the park safe for all of us who use the park. Please take the time to Email the Executive and let him know your feelings. Dear County Executive,

I am writing to respectfully request that Westchester County consider dedicating the pistol range at the Blue Mountain Sportsman Center in honor of Walton “Walt” Wallace. Walt dedicated over 30 years of his life to the Sportsman Center and to the people who use it. As a range officer, he worked tirelessly to ensure safety, fairness, and a welcoming environment for everyone. His commitment, professionalism, and kindness left a lasting impact on countless visitors and staff members. Dedicating the pistol range in Walt’s name would be a meaningful way to recognize his decades of service and to honor a man who truly helped make the Sportsman Center what it is today. Many in the community feel strongly that this tribute would be both appropriate and well deserved.
