"Apparently the entrenched political machine is already getting desperate and nasty. Fired for supporting me? That's what they do? That's how they act? Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic.
If you're going to take someone's job you better have a damn good reason and political retribution isn't one.
The voters of Rensselaer County are smart and they get what went on here, and they don't like and won't accept this thuggish, bullying behavior.
This was an orchestrated political hit. The public was already rejecting their behavior and their hand-picked machine candidate. They will be even more opposed to him now. Look for them to get more hysterical, panicked, and nasty as the summer goes on.
