Employer-sponsored health insurance premiums increased 10 percent in New York last year, making the state's coverage costs among the nation's highest, according to an Albany think tank.

I am sure none of the cost relates to the expensive nurse and hospital employee unions that pretty much get their ass kissed by Albany at every turn and loyally vote for Democrats.

Timely post as today is the day we get to find out how much more our insurance is going to cost us. In 10 years, my premiums have doubled. My premiums generally go up about $10 more per week than my last pay increase. Basically, on a 40 hour week, I bring home less money now than I did 10 years ago. That's real cash, not including cost of living increases and inflation.
