So I'm confused. Why does a weed shop have to be a certain distance from schools? Weed is good, yes? If the state sanctions it's sale it must be OK. Cunty Whorecul has the safety of NY'ers as #1 on her priority list, so why not have a weed shop next to a school?

The law was stupid to begin with. They were supposed to use the rule that applies to liquor stores which uses the property line. Someone in Albany saw the problem, realized that there was serious revenue to be raised, and passed this law through the illiterate morons who do not read anything with clarity and detail.
