I watched it and the cop did ok IMO. Not sure if he had a long gun in the car but if he did he should have retreated to get it and come back. The dog was a huge distraction factor and I understand and why dogs get shot at police scenes sometimes. If that dog came back or came at him again I’d have supported him shooting it. Can’t watch a dog and a guy with a gun. Not sure why he shot that many rounds from that far away but seems to be the lady was coming to them out of fear for her life. The other cop should have come to him with the rifle while the pistol guy covered. The rifle cop couldn’t see the suspect. Also surprised he let the women behind him without searching her. Seems like she’s the one that called but you never know if she will shoot you in the back to save her wife beating husband.
