But, we were literally at war with ISIS not too long ago. If someone self identified as a supporter of ISIS wouldn't it have been reasonable to charge them for offering aid and comfort ?

They wear the same things, they know when and where to go for "protests" and they seem to be well supplied. You can't tell me there isn't an organizational structure to them. The CIA is the Branch we should worry more about than the FBI, if they were behind it then one would expect it to unceremoniously end with the shift in Power and termination of Agents...there had to be damn good reasons why JFK sought to destroy the CIA, enough they likely caused if not committed his assassination.

Like 3%ers, for instance, its not a group, just people who hold certain beliefs. Different from a group like the Proud boys, which is an actual group.

As @spat said, all you can do is punish them harshly when caught breaking the law, and punish those who give them materiall support.

I think Antifa has some srt of group, leadership, and infrastructure or there wouldn’t be so many protesting in one area.

99% of Antifa are what Stalin would call useful idiots. They don't have evil intentions, they're just naive and easily manipulated.

But, at the same time, 99% of the Germans we killed in WWII were just decent regular guys too.

That doesn't mean they didn't have to die. It just means it's unfortunate that they did.

So, while most of the Antifa foot soldiers are just victims of the shitweasels organizing things, that doesn't mean that they don't need to start serving some serious prison sentences. That's the only way to end this.

Hopefully after a few examples are made, then the rest of the ones who just want to show up and party will stay home. At that point it the only ones left will truly deserve what they get.

Not sure what you mean by the phrase "traditional sense" but I respectfully disagree. Andy Ngo has written a book about them. They have a structure. If they keep the structure and leadership deliberately hidden that just means law enforcement isn't doing enough to document it. The useful idiots in the press just repeat the line about how there is "no organization" as if we're supposed to accept that nonsense.

We (the military) have not learned our lessons from the Korean and Vietnam wars . They do not know the terrain and the landscape, despite advances in technology. Old school and non-electronic devices will get you every time since we depend a lot on our rechargeable devices like NVG, thermal scopes, IR sensors, etc. People have already figured out how to defend against these things despite overwhelming odds.
