OK, I'll admit it. Once again, I have gotten my hopes up that SCOTUS will do something good for us. Scotusblog is making the case that this case was just "relisted", as opposed to "rescheduled", and somehow that might be favorable to pro 2A people.

Who knows? All I know is that at 10AM tomorrow morning we MIGHT learn something.

The court is stacked exactly the same way it was stacked when Scalia was alive, nothing went anywhere then i expect nothing to go anywhere now.

I might have been more inclined to worry about Kennedy, but given how Roberts has screwed us over with some of his votes (like Obamacare), I agree with you that he may be more of a problem than Kennedy.

So, maybe we need to wait for Ginsburg to croak, and Kennedy to retire. And even then, I guess we'll have to see how their replacements work out, - assuming that they can actually get confirmed through that bunch of RINO's in the Senate. Like McCain, Graham, Kirk, Collins, Murkowski, Rubio, McConnell,....

SCOTUS has no enforcement arm and is toothless...

So go ahead, get you hope up that somehow a SCOTUS ruling will wake the Liberal Progressive's up or shake their foundation! They will just create another benchmark or hurdle to overcome, then back to the courts, then wash, repeat, cycle again and again!

So, - is anyone besides me hoping that SCOTUS actually discussed Peruta v CA at their conference today, and that they might even decide to grant cert when they announce any news this coming Monday 5/22?

Or, is everyone feeling like we're fucked again?
