Stossel and Lott undermine lib study on mass shootings

If you haven't read John Lott's book "More Guns, Less Crime" you should. In this video Lott talks about the single flawed study all gun grabbers use to say the US has the most mass shootings globally. The researcher who published the study will NOT release his sources or any details on how he conducted the study. So Lott conducted his own comprehensive global study using the same definition of mass shootings and guess where the US came out? Out of almost 90 countries where mass public shootings could be identified, the US came in at number 62 behind Norway (14), Finland (31) , Switzerland (45) and Russia (51) based on people killed per 100,000 population.

Definitely worth the 5 minute watch to counter the lib argument.

Lott is a fantastic resource for dissecting their fake studies.

"Guns in the home make you more likely to be shot" - this study relied primarily on guns BROUGHT into the home by a 3rd party, and counted THAT as "in the home".

"Guns in Domestic Violence make the victim more likely to be shot" - same deal, study relied almost exclusively on guns owned / brought by the attacker, and deliberately conflated those cases with guns held by the victim. The results are hugely skewed, since the DV rate for gun-packing victims is almost zero.

Same shit with rape stats, although I did not vet these numbers: The escape rate for an armed woman is almost 97 out of 100. The escape rate for an unarmed woman is around 2 in 5. What I do know is that the gun grabbers lie about this one, claiming that the armed woman will ALWAYS be arrested, and is better off with the 2-in-5 odds.

Gun grabbers pretty much deserve a fair trail, and when convicted, a rope.
