Russian troops operated north Vietnamese SAM sites for them and shot down many US aircraft.
Vietnam is not U.S. territory.

Well, I'm sure Ukraine will only strike targets in occupied greater Ukraine then.
The only question is "what can Russia do to retaliate, and why didn't they do that over the half a million dead Russians already ?".
And basically all they have left to escalate is "attack NATO directly", or "nuke something".
Neither of those would end well for them.

Like the Russians are going to send multi million dollar weapons to kill grandma and her two grand kids , they only have so many of them . Its a total waste of money and resources and doesn't help them one bit. It would be better spent on other targets , like rail yards , ports, landing strips ,
