My wife and I have voted in thunderstorms, rain, snow and windstorms. I see no security in mail in votes. Absentee ballots where a formal ballot is requested fine. Mail in ballots are as good as junk mail and stolen credit card applications. America has become a land of lazy pussies. Bad enough voter ID is not required but anonymously stuffed ballot boxes?

I don't discount this theory in the least. There's really not much downside in losing for him, actually. If he wins, he wins. If he loses, he gets a shit ton of attention, gets to have yet another "wah they're mean to me" card to capitalize on, and doesn't have to be bothered with the pesky business of actually governing.

Ive considered that he is trolling them, or using his negotiating tactics. They offer one extreme, he offers the other in order to meet in the middle. Both delaying the election and vote by mail are terrible ideas, and neither should be acceptable to anyone. If it is a negotiating tactoc, I dont think its a good one because it makes him look like he has tyrannical tendencies.

You also have to keep in mind that the average person doesn't realize that the president cannot unilaterally change the election. Trump knows this. You and I know this. But a lot of people, especially the ones who lost their minds over the last election, don't. I think there are a whole lot of people in the middle who Trump is or will appeal to. I deal with people in a wide verity of business every day. I'd estimate 2/3 - 3/4 are pro Trump. Either they like what he's been doing for small business, or they're scared of the rioting leftists. I've had 2 people today who were praising him to me. And its not like I put my political opinions front and center at work.
