With Iran out of the picture the Houthis, Hezbollah, and Hamas will all wither and die.
Everyone else in the middle east seems to be acting like adults now. They're all even talking to Isreal.
Imagine what happens to the price of gas once the cost of all that conflict stops coming off the top.

It's a bit premature to fall this a forever war.
If we're still fucking around by midterms you may have a point, but I don't think Iran can hang on that long.
The fact that we don't have boots on the ground also suggests we aren't getting sucked into a quagmire.
We have a lot of ships over there, but that's not new, and those guys would be on those ships out to see somewhere anyway.
The really important part is that we don't seem to be suffering casualties at too much higher than a background training level. It's more dangerous delivering pizza in Chicago than it is flying bombing missions in Iran.

I don't believe garcia's article was AI but he does seem very confident in his predictions. We will know shortly if he's accurate or full of it.
I think it's going to be very clear in the next 24-48 as it seems the cease fire is timed to end right about the same time as the "negotiations" are apparently not going to occur any longer Iran is by the sound of it calling them off.
IRGC is now upping their rhetoric and claiming some new wonder weapon and talking about changing strategies to target oil infrastructure.
Yea... Sounds like shit is about to go right according to the predictions of that article actually.
