I have no problem feeling safe carrying 10 rounds of good, hi-v .22lr.

a few CCI Stingers injected into an attacker would make him reconsider hit potential target..

I feel like the ruger LCP2 with ten rounds of 22LR does this same thing but significantly cheaper. I also have to wonder in a high stress close range encounter how easily one could deploy it without fumbling the opening and dropping it

And I won't go into how, during winter, it's probably not the best caliber, although there are plenty of ballistic forensics that will show effective .22 deaths caused by firearm. I wouldn't want to need something heavier while facing a Carhartt and layers beneath... Just sayin

I'll stick to my always ready Sig229 .357Sig and my 3 extra mags I carry! Heaven forbid I should ever need them...

Novelty sure I get that, but $899 MSRP wow that’s one expensive novelty. I saw the folding .22LR’s at runnings this week for $289 and I could see a novelty at that price point. $899 is likely more expensive than the far superior sig you mentioned so yeah I’d stick with that too.

I think this will likely go the way of the folding Glock.

It's too clumsy and slow to deploy in an emergency situation. The problem it's trying to solve: "She was uncomfortable carrying a loaded gun, so he set out to design a firearm that could not be accidentally discharged while being carried." For the vast majority of people, a holster, a double-action trigger, or a safety does that.

Probably break in half after a few thousand rounds. Looks like lots of plastic, but I haven’t laid hands on it of course.
