Barack Obama and Eric Holder did not create a weaponized DOJ and FBI; the institutions were already weaponized by the Patriot Act. What Obama and Holder did was take the preexisting system and retool it, so the weapons of government only targeted one side of the political continuum.

Overall I agree with him. However he basically answers his own question: Its never going to happen by means of politics.

So what is the point of the article?

Politics is what has gotten us into this mess; or at least, politics that take no consideration of the Constitution, the history (particularly the early history) of this nation, nor the People over whom they exercise authority. The author basically admits that politics, i.e., electing one party over another, is utterly useless and an exercise in futility.

Leviathan has grown big enough it can do shit right in front of our eyes; and as a citizenry we recoil in disbelief and fear while at the same time we cross our fingers and hope we can chop off the head of the Beast.

Hail Hydra!

It doesn't work that way. When politics failed completely and utterly, our Founders showed us the Way.
