He could have done differently, but it all boils down to she shouldn’t have been convicted of sue was raped by him. Read the article, it was/is state law. In taking the plea deal she also agreed to pay that BUT from what I read it also set that aside, then later it also said that donations might not Legalley be used to pay the restitution so ???

I can hear it now take this plea deal and we will trie you as a juvenile, but reject this deal and we will true you as an adult and seek life in prison. I’m sure her crappy court appointed attorney said take the deal. Of course I’m speculating on a lot of this.

She was in an abusive home and she was a homeless runaway where a guy 20 years her senior took her in and forced her at 15 to be a human trafficked sex slave. She was charged with first degree murder as I expected. She’s only being charged because the asshole that raped her multiple times at knife point decided to take a nap before she killed him. I will again reiterate I have no issue with what she did and I in fact applaud her. Her go fund me is up to $350,000 and I hope she gets the help she needs and becomes a successful happy young women with all this behind her. I wish her the best. You are exactly right. Nobody on either side of our government cares about the victim. They keep crying about common sense laws that don't work. Here's one that makes sense that will actually help people -

Anyone committing a crime that is injured in the commission of a crime is entitled to NO financial compensation from anyone. Nor are their families.

She's been manipulated and abused for years. It certainly wouldn't surprise me if the justice system did the same thing to her. I agree, this doesn't look like justice. I'd be surprised if her lawyers didn't somehow end up with some of that gofundme money too.

If you kill someone legally during the commission of a felony, the state should cut you a tax rebate for half the cost of what it would have taken to incarcerate them after conviction.
