Great pick!James Woods is another excellent choice.
80% of people don't really have their own opinions, they just parrot whatevers around them.I have know 2 conservative people that have gone into liberal fields and it only took 5 years to turn both of them into union loving liberals.

The fastest way to destroy the 2A, is when they declare Martial Law. It will be instantly gone.On the contrary, I don't think the 2A is going away anytime soon, but I think when it eventually happens, it will happen *very* quickly.
Watch the movie. He doesn’t sugar coat that his family is from Kentucky but he grew up in suburban Ohio. It’s more of how his single mother was an addictMixed feelings on this one. Never read Hillbilly Elegy (or seen the movie) but I get the impression he embellished a lot of it, particularly his personal experiences. The book was supposed to be more sociographic about poverty in poor whites in Appalachia when in reality he only grew up on the fringe of that culture. I'm not holding this against him necessarily but it leans towards being a bit disingenuous.
More importantly I don't really see what he brings to the ticket. Whether we like it or not a lot of folks play identity politics. Many fence sitters (and that's who we're trying to court) will just see another white guy. He may pull some millennials (that's his and my demographic) but I think we would've been better with a Hispanic (like Marco Rubio) or a black guy (like Tim Scott) or a woman. I was kind of hoping for Vivek but I knew he was an unlikely choice (though I still hope he has a place in this administration).
Overall, not a terrible pick, but I think he could've done better.
Mike Rowe for VP. Talk about Dirty jobsDang. I was hoping for a Trump, Mike Rowe ticket.
Uncle Ted as the White House Press Secretary would be far more entertaining. As a former OH resident, I don’t hate Trump’s pick of JD for the VP slot. Would have preferred Ted Nugent, for maximum shock value and sheer lack of fucks to give though.

Every day closer to the 2024 election, and AFTER the election, we WILL be closer to ML than we`ve ever been, in our country`s history.
how ??
did you become a Aussie and turn in your 2A
Well there is precedence here in the good ol' USA. During hurricane Katrina in NOLA they took away the 2A.
The only thing government really does well.that was just theft ..
I disagree. The fastest way to destroy the 2A, is when they declare Martial Law. It will be instantly gone.
No disrespect to you Grimscale,I disagree.
They may declare martial law but Americans won't surrender their guns. Americans will remind them, pointedly, why the 2nd was written.
Exactly. And look how EVERYONE complied 100%!Well there is precedence here in the good ol' USA. During hurricane Katrina in NOLA they took away the 2A.
Well, except for the untold ones not talking.Exactly. And look how EVERYONE complied 100%!
I`m sure there was alot more going on down there that we will never know about.Well, except for the untold ones not talking.

There is a teenager in the military
Yeah, let me know how that all works out for ANY guy that thinks his rifle is a match against a weaponized elite squad with tools not available, to the civilians.
Well said my brother, well said. Just keep in mind, there are ALOT more p.u.s.s.i.e.s among us today, militarieee AND non military.War is more than just a rifle. But a rifle is needed, at some point.
The military isn't the only source for teenagers who are good at video games.
And we've seen in recent history what "guys with rifles" can do against "a weaponized elite squad". I would like to think the average American has a little bit more resources at his disposal than sand, caves, and camels.
And, don't forget, the military is made up of volunteers. even with the purge being conducted against your typical grunt, and replacements being sourced from the less able, there is still a significant number of active personnel who will not abide by what this regime is attempting to do.
If it comes down to civil war I expect a number of ex-pats to leave their posts, with or without taking their material with them. People who know how the military works, how it acts, where they store their equipment, etc.
As pessimistic as I usually am, I will not surrender to despair. I will not lay down and beg tyrants to come step on me.
