I wouldn't worry too much about that. Go read the book "Spyfail" by James bamford. It's a chronicle of a number of recent spies that were caught. Some of them were so obvious even a casual security review should have caught them. And these are the ones that were caught! I shudder to think how many are still operating.
As a result of the book I honestly believe there isn't a single secret that the Chinese, Russians or Israelis aren't aware of. It really is that bad. My philosophy now is if our enemies know everything we are doing there is no reason the citizens shouldn't as well.

This could be a poor move. Lots of crashes and issues lately and if there’s another after this think of the crapstorm that will be tossed his way. There’s places to cut and there’s places that should likely be left alone and this might be a place that should be left alone. I have to admit I know little about this subject so hopefully they spoke to someone who knows it well. Time will tell how this pans out and I’m sure this is a small fraction of our federal budget that could have been made up elsewhere. I agree but public perception does matter and they are trying to get even more people to hate him. It will be interesting to see where it goes. Hopefully people are smart enough to know we don’t control Canadian air traffic but probably 60% of democrats aren’t that smart.
