Lets hope this carries over to NY! I know it would never happen but also the people responsible for the ABGC should have to reimburse the money people had to pay, from their own pockets not from tax money!

Going by Hochul the Horrible's track record. If this were to carry over to NY, she would give the court her middle finger and then double down and require a Background Check to be done just to get a Background Check done. Wait, what?

If firearm purchase background checks are constitutional, then ammo background checks are constitutional.
They earned unconstitutional bnecause their disaproval rate is so high.
2nd Circuit already said it was constitutional.
NY still needs to link pistol permoit database to ammo purchase and prevent ammo sales to non-permit holders. Sorry pistol caliber rifle owners, send in more forms to Albany.

When it’s appealed to the full court review this will not stand. This has happened multiple times in the 9th. Better to keep hopes low than get your hopes up only for it to be overturned on appeal.

The Ruling is for California, New York would have to be sued the same, and even then they'd find someway around it.

Sort of its a lot to go to PA every time you shoot or need ammo. I just bought a new pistol and I’d have liked to buy more ammo but I didn’t because I didn’t want to do the background check. Most people aren’t like this and the FFL I spoke with said ammo sales are all back to normal. There was a guy doing one for bird shot when I was there grabbing my pistol. I chuckled.
unless an all out shooting event takes place, It's not likely I'll ever need to buy another round...well, maybe a new caliber that I need Brass for, even then I won't need a BCG.
