There's speculation that Walmart stores are going to be locking their doors on November 1st.
Only allowing employees into the store and only doing curb-side pickup and deliveries.
I can not verify if this is true or not, as some outlets are saying it is true while others are saying it isn't. I searched for an official statement from Walmart and never found one. So, IDK.

According to CNN. The Trump administration is using tariff revenue to fund the WIC Program, which provides benefits to pregnant women, new mothers, and young children.

I checked the Federal web site for qualifications and it said those determinations were made by the individual States....turns out that we qualify for SNAP, and that's just crazy.
Who's schools and where...is that why we passed a 32 Million Dollar School Budget and my Property Taxes went up?
Funding Schools with Gambling looks good, but too much goes to overhead and someone else.

One thought is that in the future, when the Democrats regain the majority.
Without the filibuster in place, they will be able to push their leftist agenda forward more easily.
Another thought is when the Democrats regain the majority. They are probably, I dare say most likely, going to get rid of the filibuster anyway. So I think that the Republicans should do it and get the upper hand for now. As I said, the Democrats are probably, most likely, going to nuke the filibuster next time they're in power anyway.

My mom has never in her life had any "spare cash" to put into the stock market. In fact, due to some bad financial decisions and some disasters my parents have had to declare bankruptcy three times.
I vowed to NEVER have to resort to that.
Other than finances, my folks were always very smart... street smart, not book smart. to see her in this state thanks to CNNs constant fear porn is depressing.
