I remember empty promises of DOGE rebate checks, too. They were estimated @ $5000 each. What’s that saying again? Oh, right- “Promises made, promises kept.” But is there any “bread?” No. Circus? Yes. That part of the promise will always be kept.
A little over 150 million federal income tax filers. Let’s eliminate 50 million, just for giggles. Thats $200 BILLION in rebate checks @ $2000 each to the remaining 100 million tax payers eligible for this “rebate.” And let’s not forget the stated purpose(s) of tariffs in the first place.

We should be paying down the debt and "trying" to balance the budget
People need instant gratification, paying off the debt and saying you’ll reap the rewards when it’s paid isn’t going to get you votes in today’s “have to have it now” culture. Most people will buy a big screen TV or PS5.

Keep the $2,000.00 and drain the swamp! Start arresting and prosecuting, oh yeah, release the Epstein documents. Promises have been made. Clean up this stinking cesspool of a government and ninety percent of the rest of this shit goes away or takes care of itself. Well yeah because if you tariff them they pass the cost onto the consumer, but if you tax them the corporation absorbs the cost so taxing them is better.
