They respect the law of their masters.
They only respond to force.
So, I am not concerned at all.
The Republican party will in fact lose the House. No doubt in my mind.
The Republicans will hold the Senate. No doubt about this either.
The House will get nothing done because they will be too busy trying to impeach Trump and all on his team.
Because the House will get nothing else done, the Senate will accomplish anything either.

To be fair, Lincolns actions are the origin of much of the loss of freedom we suffer from today.

The real question is "How is that different from the last year".
It's not like congress is actually doing anything useful now.
Trump doesn't need to suspend hebeus corpus to arrest criminal politicians. There are plenty of laws on the books that have been broken by these asshats.
And all it takes is one to show the rest their days are numbered.
And "qualified immunity" isn't their "get out of jail free" card. There's a reason it's "qualified". It only applies to actions taken in the course of their duties.

They have blinded their ranks to fact that the Laws the"evil" Republicans are enforcing, the ones they so diametrically oppose were written by their own party.
I do not disagree.
And in many respects he was a terrible president.
Across the Pond, in England, slavery was abolished decades earlier. The government simply purchased the slaves, at market rate or higher, and freed them.
But Lincoln was extremely ambitious, and married an honest-to-god psychopath because she came with a large dowry. And three of his four sons died.
The Lincoln wanted a distraction from his personal demons. He wanted war.
He refused all Prisoner swaps. The horrors of Andersonville could have been avoided.
Some sources report Lincoln loved to hear the reports of the atrocities Sherman and others were up to across the South.
For better or worse, Lincoln wished to repatriate all slaves. We can debate on the ethics of that, but it would have been a practical solution to many issues.
Without Lincoln's War, and the near elimination of an entire generation of American men, there would have been no need for Ellis Island and the importation of millions of Europeans. Many of us, myself included, would have remained serfs.
Trump, on the other hand, is going to absurd lengths to coddle our Communist Opponents. He needs to take a page from Lincoln's playbook.
Trump just came out and said he wants to make things less affordable. So there's that lol.

Republicans are going to lose the house and lose many seats in the senate. Republicans are not nearly as organized as the democrats when it comes to mid-term elections. Most republicans will sit home. Sorry but Republicans are going to lose big this year.
