Given that there is no shortage of people figuring out how to "bump fire" without the "special" stock, WATCH spineless Republicans cave.

The GOP not realizing that if you ban "bump fire" stocks to prevent semi-autos from being fired with a higher cyclic rate, the next step will be to ban ALL firearms capable of firing at that higher cyclic rate since you do not need the device.

When will the Republicans learn, we will NEVER be loved by: Hollywood, The Press, Network TV, sports stars, actors, artists, etc.,,,, so WHY give them anything?

Here's what will happen. Semiautomatics will be banned eventually. These staged or sanctioned shootings will continue until it happens. Previously possessed semiautomatics may be grandfathered or they may not. A few lone wolves will shoot something in retaliation of no real consequence doing absolutely nothing or even hurting the cause further. The NRA will send out more pens and hats from their members that have reached a record high. There will be more rhetoric and grandstanding but nothing of substance will come out of it. SCOTUS will either refuse to hear or rule against a poorly defended case. We will continue to bitch about it to ourselves until we pass away. Our kids will go through the same thing when bolt guns are next and become banned except after providing good reason to obtain a license.

I'm not trying to be a Dougie Downer. Just being real. Todd and Martha aren't going to kit up and attack the government after getting home and putting their briefcases away. It's just ain't happening. And those small amount of people that do stand up aren't going to plan it out and formulate good, well thought-out plans to topple the government. They'll just wing it and perform no better than the IRA in Ireland or an Iraqi insurgent.

With all due respect, You must not live in a rural area. Because what you posted is not the way people are thinking in my area.
And there are millions of us through out this country.

I have no idea what would happen, but I highly doubt a semi-auto ban would happen and if it did, for one reason or another it wouldn't be successful. It would fail miserably.

Don't misunderstand the wanting to do something with the actual doing of something meaningful. I spoke about this in other threads. Gunning down some random target accomplishes nothing. You have to go for the whole government. To do that, you have to be willing to kill those that protect the government. It can't just be a random shooting here and there. It has to be a planned attack to take over all factions of government. It ain't happening.
